I hope this is at the top of your watchlist as well. I mean, we all knew that Marvel won't just randomly kill of half of their multi billion dollar franchise, but it was a bold move nonetheless. Also, Avengers movies in general have a special place in my heart.

Votes: 16

I love Zoey Deutch and this movie sounds like a lot of fun. I'll have to see where I can watch it though, because it'll probably get a limited release in the US but not internationally.

6. Shazam! (2019)

Votes: 100,435 | Gross: $138.12M

The only DC movie I kinda think is going to be ok? I don't know. They definitely are going with a different tone here and I hope the humor is going to save the dying DCEU.

7. Hellboy (2019)

Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

Votes: 18,781 | Gross: $21.90M

A tough one. No one can replace Ron Perlman, but I want to give this movie a chance. The Hellboy universe has so many cool stories to tell and I hope this franchise will kick off again.

I enjoyed the first one, even though I think it was overhyped a little bit. But I actually never saw how the original ended or just generally how the story ends.

Action, Adventure, Fantasy | Post-production

The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more in the final chapter of the Skywalker saga.

Director: J.J. Abrams | Stars: Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Billie Lourd

I'm not AS excited anymore about this one. The more time progresses, to more I dislike the new movies and how everyone just wants to milk this franchise till the last drop. I kinda want to know, how Rey's story is going to end, but that's it.

Action, Adventure, Comedy | Post-production

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Votes: 155

I don't care what anyone says, I'm hella excited for another MIB movie. Yes, unfortunately Will Smith isn't in it but Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Rebecca Ferguson AND Liam Neeson are so who cares?

A failed stand-up comedian is driven insane and becomes a psychopathic murderer.

Director: Todd Phillips | Stars: Robert De Niro, Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, Bryan Callen

I remember when I saw the first look for the Joker, I gasped. I am REALLY excited about this new portrayal (especially after Jared Leto's horrible one...but we don't talk about that).

Director: Michael Chaves | Stars: Linda Cardellini, Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velasquez, Marisol Ramirez

Votes: 10,294 | Gross: $53.09M

I don't see much hope for horror (my favorite genre) this year, but maybe it's too soon to comment on that.

R | 120 min | Horror | Completed

A mother gives her son a toy doll for his birthday, unaware of its more sinister nature.

Director: Lars Klevberg | Stars: Aubrey Plaza, Mark Hamill, Tim Matheson, Brian Tyree Henry

When a new toy called "Forky" joins Woody and the gang, a road trip alongside old and new friends reveals how big the world can be for a toy.

Director: Josh Cooley | Stars: Keanu Reeves, Patricia Arquette, Christina Hendricks, Tom Hanks

No one asked for this. The third movie was just so perfect, but we all know how Hollywood works by now. If I get the chance, I'll watch this one, but I'm not particularly crazy about it.

22. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)

Adventure, Family, Fantasy | Post-production

The complex relationship of Maleficent and Aurora continues to be explored as they face new threats to the magical land of the Moors.

Director: Joachim Rønning | Stars: Angelina Jolie, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein, Elle Fanning

Why does Hollywood bother so much with unnecessary sequels to good movies? I know, it's the money, and yeah, I'll probably watch it, but Hollywood producers need to chill.

23. Charlie's Angels (2019)

Action, Adventure, Comedy | Post-production

Reboot of the 2000 action comedy based on the 1970s television series. A new generation of private detectives working for the mysterious Charlie.

When I was like 11 or so, I remember thinking that the Charlie's Angels movies were SO good. In hindsight they weren't, but I still like them enough to be excited about this reboot. Also, my girl Kristen Stewart is rumored to be in here.

Votes: 69,287

I actually already watched this movie, but I still was excited to see it, so there. I like it and it definitely had some memorable scenes in it - and I LOVED the cast! The only thing I didn't like was how it all lead into nothing, but maybe that's just me.

25. Untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel (2019)

Action, Adventure, Comedy | Post-production

Plot kept under wraps.

Director: Jake Kasdan | Stars: Karen Gillan, Dwayne Johnson, Awkwafina, Kevin Hart

Who would have thought that the Jumanji remake would be so entertaining? It was just natural that the would make a sequel, but I honestly don't think that it'll be any good. But, again, that's the same thing I said about the remake.

26. The Woman in the Window (2019)

Crime, Drama, Mystery | Post-production

An agoraphobic woman living alone in New York begins spying on her new neighbors only to witness a disturbing act of violence.

Director: Joe Wright | Stars: Amy Adams, Anthony Mackie, Gary Oldman, Julianne Moore

The premise sounds interesting and Hitchcock much?

PG-13 | Action, Drama, Thriller | Completed

A crew of underwater researchers must scramble to safety after an earthquake devastates their subterranean laboratory.

Horror | Post-production

A group of teens face their fears in order to save their lives.

Director: André Øvredal | Stars: Zoe Margaret Colletti, Michael Garza, Austin Zajur, Gabriel Rush

My guts tell me that this movie won't be very good. I remember being creeped tf out by some of the original stories and I am a little bit confused on what exactly this movie is going to be about.

60 min | Action, Adventure, Drama | Pre-production

Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.

Beneath Anna Poliatova's striking beauty lies a secret that will unleash her indelible strength and skill to become one of the world's most feared government assassins.

Director: Luc Besson | Stars: Sasha Luss, Helen Mirren, Luke Evans, Cillian Murphy

Finally a Russian woman in a big budget movie, who is played by an actual Russian! (means a lot to me as a Russian, who saw weird portrayals of her nationality in American media growing up...) The plot seems a little bit generic, but I hope Luc Besson can pull this off.

31. Good Omens (2019– )
