I have not seen the original, but after this I don't need to. Totally gripping, twisted and gnarly edge of your seat horror. 9/10

Natalie Portman gives an amazing performance. She was so creepy I actually started feeling ill. 9/10

6. The Lovely Bones (2009)

More of a drama/thriller but it definitely has it's suspenseful moments and the villain is horrific in every sense. 9/10

A quiet but nasty thriller/drama. Definitely worth a watch. The lead roles are incredible. 8/10

10. The Resident (2011)

I have seen this movie at least 5 times. So disturbing and who knew Jeffery Dean Morgan would make such a convincing creep! 8/10

This is an exceptionally disturbing thriller due to it being based on a real issue. I was emotionally invested in the characters and fully immersed in the story. 8/10
