Stephen King is one of my Favourite Authors, on this list are some that barely scraped in, but some of his work is left out, that is because they are barely watchable and would waste your time. This list is populated with the only movies worth watching that have been adapted from his books/novels/novellas/shorts.

Great opening Pilot, excellent casting choice. May turn out to be one of King's best adaptations on the small screen, hopefully even better then 11.22.63!

Let's wait and see what happens.

**Edit** After finishing the last episode, i am happy to announce that this was a blast. A great series with lots of gritty King antics, it really stayed true to the spirit of King.

One of the most brutal movies I've ever seen. Once scene in-particular actually made me queezy for around 5 minutes until i couldn't hold on any longer and had to vomit...

I have never thrown up from any movie, that should give you an indication of how screwed up this scene was.

This, 11.22.63 and Mr.Mercedes are the 3 best Stephen King movies/series that have come out in years, Forget IT which was a rushed mess. Watch this and Mr.Mercedes for your Stephen King fix.

27. 1922 (2017)

Netflix is on a roll with King adaptations.

After this years BOMB "The Dark Tower" and the ludicrously adapted "IT" which teenagers everywhere are bestowing the tittle of "Best horror movie ever" because they have no idea what constitutes a good horror film and value jump scares over a great story line and decent character development, (surprise surprise, this generation of reality TV lovers enjoy mindless dribble.) Well, surprise, it's not. and this years adaptation of "IT" was one of the worst adaptations or horror movies I've seen in years.

Coming off the heels of those 2 horrible experiences, I've had the opportunity to view 2 of Stephen King's lesser known stories "Gerald's Game" and now "1922."

Whilst the latter was not as great as the former, it was still a great adaptation and all round decent film.

Worth the watch for horror fans and fans of Stephen King (Mostly King readers, not people who think the high point of Stephen King's career was his series TV series "Under the Dome" or this years "The Mist."

Good film, Good adaptation.
