I don't approve of buying fireworks yourself. You'll get a better show from the professional public displays than from anything you'll get from what you bought at a stand. Fire marshals also don't recommend it for safety reasons. And my neighbors keep me up every year setting them off, as if to announce "I didn't make any better plans to see fireworks this year, and I want everyone to know it." It's also bad for any neighbors who may be veterans, and suffering from PTSD. But this is a fascinating look at the people who sell them.
