I thoroughly enjoyed FOUR WEDDINGS & A FUNERAL. Then I vaguely enjoyed NINE MONTHS (please don't think less of me). Then Hugh cheated on the divine Miss Hurley and like many people, I lost all respect for him. Then I was forced to watch ABOUT A BOY against my will and I found myself enjoying it so much that I instantly forgave Hugh for not wanting to disrespect Liz's mouth and opting to insert his member in the mouth of a hideous prozzie instead. Quite frankly Liz should be ashamed of herself for being so high-maintenance. Get ya gob round it Lizzie!
PLEASE NOTE: I apologise if I sound crass for the sake of crass... but you've obviously got me all wrong... I really am this shallow :p

Many people consider this to be one of Richard Curtis' weaker efforts. Firstly, they initially said the same thing about LOVE, ACTUALLY. Secondly, the cast is beyond brilliant. Thirdly, the Pirate Radio story needed to be told. Fourthly, the soundtrack is awesome... because "Love Is All Around Me" isn't on it :p
In my opinion, it probably didn't fare too well at the box office or with the critics because women aren't exactly portrayed in the best light. They're all fickle, heartless sluts... except for the lesbian :D
TRIPPY TRIVIA: Did you know that Smooth Bob from the early EARLY morning slot is also Del Preston from Wayne's World 2? "But the shopkeeper and his son... that was a different story all together. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes."

Do I really need to add a description?
It's 4.5 stars worth of Rik & Ade at their absolute best with memorable early performances by Vincent Cassel, Bill Nighy & Simon Pegg.
PLEASE NOTE: I've deducted half a star because the last 10-odd minutes worth of the film where everyone is spewing uncontrollably is a tad too silly for my liking. I expect more sophisticated humour from Rik & Ade :p
"Oh and... have... a... nice... day."
40. Keeping Mum (2005)

This pitch black comedy took me roughly from behind. I was blown away by how enjoyable it was. I'd still be raving about it... even if I didn't catch a glimpse of the little girl from Sir Gadabout's knockers.

The bumbling Mr. Bean travels to America when he is given the responsibility of bringing a highly valuable painting to a Los Angeles museum.
Votes: 89,402 | Gross: $45.32M
No explanation required. MR BEAN'S HOLIDAY is also a must-see for any die hard Bean fan. The big screen Bean isn't exactly comedy gold... but only crap people would call the Bean movies crap.
44. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)

Mere seconds before the Earth is to be demolished by an alien construction crew, journeyman Arthur Dent is swept off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher penning a new edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."
Votes: 177,147 | Gross: $51.09M
If you're a die-hard fan of the original books/series then I can understand why you might feel slightly cheated by this Hollywood-ized big screen adaptation... but I still reckon it's well worth probing.
