Memorial Day falls on the last Monday of May each year, it is a day intended to honor and remember those who have died while serving in the various branches of the U.S. military. Medal of Honor Day is celebrated each year on March 25th. For the purpose of this poll, the Medal of Honor for Space, the Gold Lifesaving Medal and the Four Chaplains' Medal are similar awards.
