Director One of my favourite directors working atm, and a superb Superhero director as shown by Xmen First Class. Matthew Vaughn could bring a humorous yet sleek and modern approach to Superman.

Superman / Clark Kent Excellent actor, I was personally kind of disappointed by DCEU Superman as I felt he wasn't the character I had grown to admire. He wasn't a symbol of Hope in the way that Superman in the comics is. And even the Jesusy bibilical approach Snyder took felt a bit empty, because their prophet didn't have anything he was preaching. I should stop rant sorry.

8. Deborah Ann Woll

Actress | True Blood

Deborah was born in 1985, in Brooklyn, New York, from Irish and German heritage. She took acting, piano and dance classes. She went to high school at Packer Collegiate Institute and graduated from the BFA program at the USC School of Theatre at the University of Southern California.

Deborah started ...

Lana Lang Superman's childhood friend and love interest, I'd like a Lana Lang similar to Birthright's, where her lack of interest in Clark makes him relatable lmao.

Natalie Alyn Lind, the oldest of the three Lind sisters, all working actresses, grew up surrounded by the entertainment industry. Supergirl / Kara Zor-El Melissa Benoist's Supergirl is surprisingly great and I came very close to casting her for this. However, it would be interesting to see a much younger teenage Kara, who has just arrived on Earth and is being trained by the Kents.

Jeffrey Leon Bridges was born on December 4, 1949 in Los Angeles, California, the son of well-known film and TV star Lloyd Bridges and his long-time wife Dorothy Dean Bridges (née Simpson). Possibly most known for her role as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), she has also starred in critically acclaimed independent films such as Smashed (2012), for which...

Lois Lane Winstead could do a great portrayal of Lois Lane, perhaps with a bit more personality than the blandness that Man of Steel's Lois Lane had.

Actor | Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

Thomas Mann is an American actor. He is best known for Project X (2012), Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), Brain on Fire (2016) , and Kong: Skull Island (2017).

His film debut was It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010).

Jimmy Olsen He's awkward, so is Jimmy Olsen. He could totally pull it off. Jimmy Olsen is a very important character to the Superman universe, and in a cinematic universe I think he should represent the heart of the films.

Cat Grant Whilst I love Cat Grant on the Supergirl show, I always felt like her character was an excellent cautionary tale for young women as a poor role model and represented the wilful ignorance of Metropolis' general population in a culture dominated by sex and fame.

Actor | American History X

Ethan Suplee has established himself over the past few decades as an actor of considerable talent and accomplishment. His diverse and eclectic resume ranges from hilarious roles in such comedies as Mallrats (1995) and Without a Paddle (2004) to hauntingly dramatic performances in intense features ...

Steve Lombard Surprisingly difficult to cast, Steve really just needs to be a buff jock with an alpha male attitude who is an ass to everyone.

Oscar was raised in Miami, Florida. Before he became an actor, he played lead guitar and sang vocals in his band the Blinking ...

Lex Luthor One character I was deeply disappointed with was Lex Luthor in BvS. Frankly his portrayal by Jesse Eisenberg simply didn't do justice to the ferocity and unstoppable threat that is Lex Luthor. But if you were going for a younger Lex, Oscar Isaac would be a magnificent choice. He's handsome, but also terrifyingly intense and would totally nail the role.

20. Natalie Dormer

Actress | Game of Thrones

Natalie Dormer born 11 February 1982 is an English actress. She is best known for her roles as Anne Boleyn on the Showtime series The Tudors (2007-10), as Margaery Tyrell on the HBO series Game of Thrones (2012-14), Irene Adler on the CBS series Elementary (2013-15), and as Cressida in the ...

Mercy Graves Seriously underdone character in BvS. Honestly I think Tao Okamoto could have done a pretty good job if she was given the chance, but Natalie Dormer would absolutely kill in it as Luthor's badass enforcer.

21. Jena Malone

Actress | Contact

Jena Malone was born in Sparks, Nevada, to Deborah Malone and Edward Berge. Her grandfather owned a casino, Karl's Silver Club, in Sparks. She was raised by her mother and her mother's partner. Metallo / John Corben Malcolm McDowell voiced this terrifying character in the Animated series, and Rheon reminds me of him. Metallo is a really powerful and genuinely scary enemy of Superman.

24. Robert Forster

Actor | Jackie Brown

Robert Forster was born Robert Wallace Foster, Jr. in Rochester, New York, to Grace Dorothy (Montanarella) and Robert Wallace Foster, Sr., who worked as an elephant trainer and baking supply company executive. General Sam Lane Anti-Superman army general and father of Lois Lane, Sam Lane would be an interesting character to see in the DCEU for his relationship with Lex Luthor and ARGUS.
