Director: François Ozon | Stars: Marine Vacth, Géraldine Pailhas, Frédéric Pierrot, Fantin Ravat

Votes: 29,287 | Gross: $0.05M

watch out, the age gap is HUGE in this, like a teenager and a elderly man, not very aesthetic but a good movie.

3. Marie, the Doll (1976)

does contain a bunch of age gap relationships but it's a bad movie, not worth the watch.

not very good but it's decent enough and the relationship is very cute.

6. A Real Young Girl (1976)

Unrated | 89 min | Drama

55 Metascore

Reluctantly, a sulky adolescent returns to her parents' house for yet another boring summer vacation, dabbling in desire and the art of desirability, eventually mixing reality with vision, caged fantasies with the fierce female sexuality.

Director: Catherine Breillat | Stars: Charlotte Alexandra, Hiram Keller, Rita Maiden, Bruno Balp

Votes: 3,205 | Gross: $0.00M

doesn't really show a real age gap relationship, more just a girl crushing on a much older man, but it's a very aesthetically pleasing film.

7. The Piano Teacher (2001)

R | 131 min | Drama

79 Metascore

A young man romantically pursues his masochistic piano teacher.

Director: Michael Haneke | Stars: Isabelle Huppert, Annie Girardot, Benoît Magimel, Susanne Lothar

Votes: 50,148 | Gross: $1.90M

this one, unlike all the others in this list, has an older woman, younger man storyline. their relationship is surprisingly interesting to watch and it's also a very good movie.

8. The Babysitter (1995)

R | 90 min | Drama, Thriller

A teenage babysitter is the focus of two boys and a man's separate obsessions.

Director: Guy Ferland | Stars: Alicia Silverstone, Jeremy London, J.T. Walsh, Lee Garlington

Votes: 4,315

i don't remember much from this movie, only that i wasn't very impressed. you'd think it'd be better from the looks of it.

9. Lolita (1962)

Not Rated | 153 min | Crime, Drama, Romance

A middle-aged college professor becomes infatuated with a fourteen-year-old nymphet.

Director: Stanley Kubrick | Stars: James Mason, Shelley Winters, Sue Lyon, Gary Cockrell

Votes: 83,826 | Gross: $9.25M

honestly, for any 21st century pair of eyes this will probably be an incredibly tame and boring film. If you weren't familiar with the lolita theme beforehand, you'd almost miss that fact that there's supposed to be a relationship between lolita and humbert. it's a good movie to watch if you're interested in films and classic films but don't watch it for the aesthetic age gap because you will be disappointed.

10. Lolita (1997)

R | 137 min | Drama, Romance

46 Metascore

A man marries his landlady so he can take advantage of her daughter.

Director: Adrian Lyne | Stars: Jeremy Irons, Dominique Swain, Melanie Griffith, Frank Langella

Votes: 47,462 | Gross: $1.40M

this 90's version is a lot less tame than the original, which does make it more enjoyable but, tbh i wasn't very fond of it. One thing i will say tho this movie has some beautiful cinematography.

11. The Crush (1993)

R | 89 min | Drama, Thriller

A journalist becomes the unwanted center of attention for a 14-year-old girl, who proceeds to sabotage his life after he refuses her sexual advances.

Director: Alan Shapiro | Stars: Cary Elwes, Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Rubin, Kurtwood Smith

Votes: 14,799 | Gross: $13.61M

this, again, is a movie which sounded more promising than it actually was. there are a few good moments in the beginning but it turns into a thriller later on and that's pretty boring

12. Palo Alto (2013)

R | 100 min | Drama

69 Metascore

The life and struggles of a group of adolescents living in Palo Alto.

Director: Gia Coppola | Stars: Emma Roberts, James Franco, Jack Kilmer, Zoe Levin

Votes: 25,610 | Gross: $0.75M

the age gap relationship in this one is very nice and very aesthetic but keep in mind, that relationship isn't central to the story so it gets only a couple scenes and keeps you wondering at the end. it's still worth the watch for the story line alone though.

13. The Lover (1992)

R | 115 min | Biography, Drama, Romance

In 1929 French Indochina, a French teenage girl embarks on a reckless and forbidden romance with a wealthy, older Chinese man, each knowing that knowledge of their affair will bring drastic consequences to each other.

81 Metascore

Everything changes for 15-year-old Mia when her mum brings home a new boyfriend.

Director: Andrea Arnold | Stars: Katie Jarvis, Michael Fassbender, Kierston Wareing, Rebecca Griffiths

Votes: 55,216 | Gross: $0.37M

this is a good movie but this definitely isn't one of those glamorous, aesthetic age gap relationships. It's very real and dramatic, it's rlly good though.

15. Lost in Translation (2003)

R | 102 min | Drama

89 Metascore

A faded movie star and a neglected young woman form an unlikely bond after crossing paths in Tokyo.

Director: Sofia Coppola | Stars: Bill Murray, Scarlett Johansson, Giovanni Ribisi, Anna Faris

Votes: 377,567 | Gross: $44.59M

i feel like you either hate or love this movie and i personally hated it. also, this isn't a 'real' age gap movie, they don't hook up or anything but they like emotionally connect or whatever.

16. Ghost World (2001)

R | 111 min | Comedy, Drama

88 Metascore

With only the plan of moving in together after high school, two unusually devious friends seek direction in life. As a mere gag, they respond to a man's newspaper ad for a date, only to find it will greatly complicate their lives.

Director: Terry Zwigoff | Stars: Steve Buscemi, Thora Birch, Scarlett Johansson, Brad Renfro

Votes: 107,503 | Gross: $6.22M

i loved this movie and i love the relationship in this, keep in mind though the older man in this is a very geeky Steve Buscemi so don't expect some brad pitt dad but definitely worth your time, it'll grow on you in a way you wouldn't expect it to.

17. American Beauty (1999)

R | 122 min | Drama

86 Metascore

A sexually frustrated suburban father has a mid-life crisis after becoming infatuated with his daughter's best friend.

Director: Sam Mendes | Stars: Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening, Thora Birch, Wes Bentley

Votes: 998,962 | Gross: $130.10M

the gap relationship is more of a side-story line in this but it definitely gets it's screen time and you won't finish it feeling unfulfilled or needing more. it's also just a must watch in general.

18. Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014)

R | 119 min | Comedy, Drama

87 Metascore

A washed-up superhero actor attempts to revive his fading career by writing, directing, and starring in a Broadway production.

Director: Alejandro G. Iñárritu | Stars: Michael Keaton, Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough

Votes: 525,913 | Gross: $42.34M

the age gap in this movie plays a very tiny role so don't expect too much, it's more like a bonus to an already WONDERFUL movie. definitely worth your while.

19. Last Tango in Paris (1972)

NC-17 | 129 min | Drama, Romance

77 Metascore

A young Parisian woman meets a middle-aged American businessman who demands their clandestine relationship be based only on sex.

Director: Bernardo Bertolucci | Stars: Marlon Brando, Maria Schneider, Maria Michi, Giovanna Galletti

Votes: 45,563 | Gross: $36.14M

meeeeh, i'm still not sure how i feel about this movie. it's probably one of those movies you have to have seen but i wouldn't say it's the best and the relationship isn't very nice either.

20. The Diary of a Teenage Girl (2015)

Director: Marielle Heller | Stars: Bel Powley, Alexander Skarsgård, Kristen Wiig, Christopher Meloni

Cute!! Bonus: a very very cute Alexander Skarsgård. also shows the less glamorous side of age gap relationships which is good

21. The Jacket (2005)

Director: John Maybury | Stars: Adrien Brody, Keira Knightley, Daniel Craig, Kris Kristofferson

Votes: 104,174 | Gross: $6.30M

okay, not really an age gap movie, but sorta?? you'll understand when you watch it. it's a beautifully interesting movie all in all so definitely watch this.

22. La petite sirène (1980)

A rebellious girl hooks up with an escort agency, where her stepfather is a client.

Director: Nick Guthe | Stars: Alec Baldwin, Nikki Reed, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jeff Goldblum

this is a pretty cool age gap story until like the halfway mark, where it just gets weird and idk, i'm not sure if it's worth your time.

24. The Babysitters (2007)

R | 88 min | Drama

35 Metascore

A teenager turns her babysitting service into a call-girl service for married guys after fooling around with one of her customers.

Director: David Ross | Stars: Lauren Birkell, Paul Borghese, Chira Cassel, Anthony Cirillo

Votes: 10,195 | Gross: $0.04M

this is like the original and better version of the above mentioned 'babysitter's black book'. it isn't per se a good movie but if you are into the whole 'babysitters sleep with the dad for money' concept than this is probably the best movie to watch.

25. Suburban Girl (2007)

PG-13 | 97 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

A Manhattanite book editor finds her take on the game of romance changed after she lures the attention of an influential older man.

Director: Marc Klein | Stars: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alec Baldwin, Maggie Grace, James Naughton

Votes: 7,110

this is like your typical romcom chick flick but they just managed to sneak a little age gap in there so i didn't really enjoy it but if that's what your into then this movie is for you.

26. Towelhead (2007)

R | 124 min | Drama

57 Metascore

A young Arab-American girl struggles with her sexual obsession, a bigoted Army reservist and her strict father during the Gulf War.

Director: Alan Ball | Stars: Summer Bishil, Aaron Eckhart, Peter Macdissi, Chris Messina

Votes: 11,092 | Gross: $0.37M

this isn't really an age gap relationship than it is age gap sexual abuse so warning abt that. but beyond that it's a beautiful and interesting movie, def worth your time.

This is such a beautiful movie, really takes you on an emotional ride. (the 'older man' is also played by a very cute, imo, Peter Sarsgaard)

29. Call Me by Your Name (2017)

Votes: 159,350 | Gross: $18.10M

this is such a beautiful beautiful beautiful movie, please watch it. the age gap isn't huge, like 17 and 24 but that really doesn't matter for this movie.

A Brooklyn teenager spends his days experimenting with drugs and looking online for older men to meet with.

Director: Eliza Hittman | Stars: Harris Dickinson, Madeline Weinstein, Kate Hodge, Neal Huff

Votes: 9,828 | Gross: $0.47M

this one's abt a cute lil gay boi who's meeting up with a bunch of older men. I really liked this one, it's a very offbeat kinda movie, but in a good way

31. Mojave Moon (1996)

R | 95 min | Comedy, Romance, Thriller

Director: Kevin Dowling | Stars: Danny Aiello, Anne Archer, Michael Biehn, Angelina Jolie

Votes: 2,263

doesn't rlly feature an age gap relationship, but it does feature a stunning 90's Angelina Jolie flirting with a much older guy. But that's pretty much the only thing this movie has going for it, it's not very good all in all

32. Mystic Pizza (1988)

Director: Donald Petrie | Stars: Annabeth Gish, Julia Roberts, Lili Taylor, Vincent D'Onofrio

the age gap plays a pretty small role here and it's used in the way of: ''look at this young girl coming of age but oh wait she falls in love with an older married guy, that's not good! oh well let's use it as a good life lesson''. But the movie itself is a pretty cute coming of age story so i recommend
