An improvement on the first episode
which makes Hannah's character more central again. Having Hannah appear as a ghost is an extremely powerful way of keeping her character relevant (particularly when I was beginning to doubt her appearances continuing).

A brutal reminder of how punishing this show can be.

An awesome ending, but an overall lacklustre episode.
With Clay finally on the stand, I expected 'Reasons' to up its game - but the structure of the episode took much away from what it was trying to reveal.

Perhaps the best episode of the season yet

What the h*** just happened?
I still can't figure out why this season is trying to paint Hannah differently than we know her. I get that there's always another side to every story but in this case, how it helps the story I don't know. With that said, it is a powerful way to send the message that everything isn't always as straight forward as it may look.

Finally a little retribution...and then another total gut-punch.
The ending scene, Chloe's testimony...who can predict where this show is going at the moment? Regardless, the fight scene provided at least a little restbite to

By mixing themes with a wholly incoherent and unrecognisable story, 'Reasons' ends the season on a similar blunder to which it began - creating confusion and not much else.
I think season two, in many ways was confused as to what it wanted to be. It wasn't perfect, but it has been an unfairly bashed follow-up to last years groundbreaking start. Sadly, the second season threw its arc late on with the intention of preparing for another season - which at this point, may not be entirely warranted. It becomes so overtly obvious that the show-runners intentions were to make a statement. However, by trying to be more than a TV show, the coherence of the story and each characters arc ultimately suffered - concurrently throwing away much of what the season had built toward. Additionally, the final episode tried to introduce and resolve too much when, given the intention of producing a third season, could have been left until then. By instead allowing this season to end in a positive fashion, tying a bow on Hannah's story would have provided a better flow into future seasons. Ultimately, 'Bye' leaves viewers with the question - is this realism or just bleakness?
