Movies I Hate

by NiteOwl94 | created - 23 Feb 2015 | updated - 18 Nov 2015 | Public

I've seen a lot of bad movies that I genuinely enjoyed, so just because a movie is bad doesn't mean I hate it. These movies are on a whole other level of bad for me, in a way that's almost personally offensive. I loathe these movies.

A werewolf movie, without much of an actual werewolf in it until the last five minutes. I loathed it's sense of humor, and hated pretty much everything about it except the practical effects.

Takes a great concept, and boils it down to a single set: an apartment. This potentially had the scope of Mad Max or Blade Runner- but no, one apartment is all the play-room this movie had. Boring and confined, this one reeks of a small budget. Hated the ending too.

Votes: 218,177 | Gross: $31.57M

Chappie is full of cheap visual shorthand supposed to make us care about a character that is nothing but a walking mimic. Sorry, but as for cute robots I'll stick to Wall-e.

Director: Martin Weisz | Stars: Daniella Alonso, Jacob Vargas, Michael Bailey Smith, Cécile Breccia

Votes: 58,390 | Gross: $20.80M

One of the laziest, un-scariest, most banal and insipid movies I've ever seen. The Hills' movies are often compared to the Wrong Turn movies. Wrong Turn 2 was amazing, and straight to video- this movie got a theatrical release and sucked hard. Justice? I think not.
