First Trailer for 'The Last Black Man in San Francisco' with Jimmie Fails

"Maybe he's right - what if we shouldn't be here..." A24 has debuted the first trailer for Joe Talbot's The Last Black Man in San Francisco, one of the best films out of the Sundance Film Festival this year, and already one of my favorite films of the year (not much will be able to top it). Winner of Best Director and a Special Jury Award at Sundance, The Last Black Man in San Francisco is a sweeping story about friendship and holding on to your roots in a rapidly changing world. Talbot crafted a gorgeous tribute to hometowns and how they're made—and kept alive—by the people who love them. Jimmie Fails stars as himself, a Sf native who travels every day to a house in the city to take care of it. The cast includes Jonathan Majors, Danny Glover, Tichina Arnold, Rob Morgan, Mike Epps, Finn Wittrock,

We Don't Want to Say Goodbye to Khaleesi, but Emilia Clarke's New Projects Make It Easier

  • BuzzSugar
If you've seen even an episode of Game of Thrones, then you know that Emilia Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen so convincingly, it's easy to forget the 32-year-old British actress isn't actually the Mother of Dragons. Before GoT, Clarke appeared in several London stage productions, but when she was cast as one of the last two surviving members of the House Targaryen in 2011, she rose to mega stardom, earning three Emmy nominations and inspiring endless Halloween costumes. However, the question begs: what will Clarke do once her reign as Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen reaches its conclusion at the end of the show's eighth season?

Fret not, loyal fans, because Clarke has plenty of projects lined up following the end of her run on GoT. Currently, Clarke is working with Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor director Paul Feig and writers Bryony Kimmings and Emma Thompson on an upcoming holiday rom-com called Last Christmas,

Alain’s Top 5: Christmas Movies

Although horror is my favourite film genre, it is closely followed by Christmas movies. I love them and will watch almost any type of movie if it’s festive themed – rom-com (yes really!), horror, comedy, sci-fi (there’s not enough of those), animated, anything you can think of! So for Nerdly I thought I’d write up about five of my favourite Christmas movies that you might not have heard of.

The Family Man

This starts off my festive viewing every year. It’s actually one of my favourite Nicolas Cage movies, we get a tiny bit of crazy Cage but for the most part he plays things pretty straight. This is part Christmas Carol part Sliding Doors, as we see Cage’s character wake up one Christmas Day morning in a different life where he wakes up to the woman he left in his early twenties. Now they are

Now, however, she’s often asked to autograph adults’ well-worn VHS tapes of the film “and people are always coming up to me, saying, ‘My mom played it for me and I play it for my kids.'”

Najimy portrayed Mary Sanderson, one of three witches who chase after children.
