I’ve enjoyed the Kingsmen films that have been made. They’ve been a blast to watch, but this sequel looks like it could end up being the best one in the franchise so far. I love what I’m seeing in this first trailer. I love the WWI setting, and the direction of the story. It’s also obviously going

‘The King’s Man’ First Trailer: Matthew Vaughn’s Super-Spy Franchise Gets a Flashy Prequel
Before the “Kingsman” film franchise wraps up with a long-teased third entry in the Taron Egerton and Colin Firth-starring series, director Matthew Vaughn is going back in time to explore the early days of the smooth-talking super-spy secret society. In “The King’s Man,” Vaughn digs deeper into the genesis of the Kingsman collective, as first imagined by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons in their comic book series of the same name.

Per the film’s official synopsis, the World War II-set film follows “a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds [who] gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them.” This time around, Ralph Fiennes and Harris Dickinson step into the shoes previously occupied Firth and Egerton, taking over as the elder Kingsman and his newest recruit.

Vaughn has had plenty of ideas to expand the “Kingsman” universe.

"Real power lies in understanding who it is you're truly fighting." 20th Century Fox has unveiled the first teaser trailer for The King's Man, a prequel movie from Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman series. First Trailer The King’s Man Teases Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman Prequel

The Kingsman franchise will be expanding beyond the adventures of Eggsy and Harry Hart for its third installment, as The King’s Man promises something very different from what we’ve seen before in the tongue-in-cheek spy franchise. It’s a prequel movie that explores the origins of the secret intelligence organization and takes place in the time of the First World War.

Fox – well, at first, as Disney has owned the franchise since March’s merger – has been keeping a lid on details about the movie up to now. In fact, the title was only officially unveiled last month, after it was thought to be called The Great Game. But now they’re ready to show it off and today the studio’s dropped the first trailer online which teases what appears to be a fun mash-up of period war movie and spy thriller with director Matthew Vaughn’s

Taron Egerton Confirms Kingsman 3 Will Be The Final Chapter For Eggsy And Harry

The Kingsman franchise was a surprise success for Fox. 2014’s The Secret Service exceeded expectations, spawning a sequel in the form of 2017’s The Golden Circle, an in-production spinoff prequel titled The King’s Man and Kingsman 3. Up until recently, we didn’t know much about the third entry in the trilogy, and there’d been talk that the franchise’s mature content might see it cancelled due to Disney owning it after the Fox merger. Fortunately though, it seems that Kingsman 3 is indeed going ahead.

The updates come from star Taron Egerton and director Matthew Vaughn. The actor was asked about the movie at the Ace Comic Con Seattle over the weekend, saying that:

“So you have The King’s Man coming, which is a prequel set around 100 years ago, and I’m not in it. But I do know some stuff about it, and it’s really, really exciting,

Kingsman Prequel Gets an Official Title, Logo & Synopsis
We finally have some concrete details regarding the Kingsman prequel movie. Director Matthew Vaughn has, somewhat quietly, been working on the third entry in the franchise, which will be taking us back to where it all began. Now, we know that the movie will not be titled The Great Game, as had been previously reported. Instead, it's going to be called The King's Man, per a press release from Disney and 20th Century Fox.

The studio also revealed the movie's first official logo, which takes the classic Kingsman look, but updates it with appropriate punctuation and spacing to fit the new title. Not much can be extracted from the title or the logo, other than the fact that this will clearly be more of a one-man mission, as opposed to a group effort. Additionally, Disney/Fox also revealed the official synopsis for The King's Man, which reads as follows.

Does ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?

Does ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?
While “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” may be remembered as a disappointment at the box office, its long-term legacy should be kinder — because it’s just about unfathomably weird and crazy for a big budget movie from a major Hollywood studio.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters” sees the gargantuan beast return to do battle against some of his most famous rivals, led by the three-headed dragon King Ghidorah. Through it all, humanity is stuck struggling to survive the onslaught, while the mysterious Monarch agency does its best to learn how to communicate with the creatures.

The new “Godzilla” film, despite the seeming finality of its title, is not the climax of this series, but simply a ramping up toward to the true epic conflict that the MonsterVerse has been building toward — which will come in next year’s “Godzilla vs. Kong.” That film will see the two most well known

‘Game of Thrones’: Lena Headey Admits She Wanted a Better Ending for Queen Cersei
[Editor’s note: The following post contains spoilers for “Game of Thrones” Season 8.]

When HBO’s seminal fantasy series “Game of Thrones” wrapped up its truncated final season last month, the show inevitably ended with a slew of deaths for some of its signature characters, including Lena Headey’s embattled Queen Cersei, who ended her eight-season run in tragic fashion.

Despite making a last minute attempt to escape King’s Landing, suddenly turned into a flamed-out battleground after years of threats, Headey’s Cersei ultimately perished in the bowels of the city, clinging to her brother and lover Jaime as everything literally collapsed around them. It was quick, sad, and a touch confusing, and perhaps not the best way to send out two of the series’ most complex characters.

In a new interview with The Guardian, Headey herself admitted that she has her her “own gripes” with the way the series wrapped. She told the outlet, “I invested as

Ghostbusters 2016 Director Keeps Hope Alive for Answer the Call Sequel

Ghostbusters 2016 Director Keeps Hope Alive for Answer the Call Sequel
As some of you guys might know, director Paul Feig's 2016 Ghostbusters reboot starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones - now evidently going by the title Ghostbusters: Answer the Call - has its share of rabid supporters. In fact, the fanbase is currently trying to convince the powers that be behind the scenes at Columbia Pictures to greenlight a sequel, and today it looks like Feig is still interested in returning for more busting of the ghost variety.

Paul Feig was recently interviewed about the movement for Ghostbusters: Answer the Call 2 and said this.

"Thank you so much, thank you for keeping the torch alive for Answer the Call. We're hoping there's a second call, and if we do get it, it's all because of you."

While I'm glad to see Feig and friends still stand by their movie (which isn't terrible), I'm wondering how fans
