Trailer For HBO's Westworld Season 3 Features Aaron Paul's Character Meeting Dolores

HBO has released the first trailer for Westworld Season 3 and it introduces us to Aaron Paul’s character. What interesting about this trailer is that it doesn’t really come off as a Westworld trailer until the very end when we see Paul’s character encounter Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores.

It looks like there’s a chance this next season might take place outside of the park and give us a real looks at the futuristic world in which the story is set. It looks like this next season is going to have a very different vibe than the previous seasons.

The new season also stars Vincent Cassel, Tessa Thompson, Lena Waithe, Kid Cudi, Liam Hemsworth, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffery Wright and more.

Season 3 of Westworld will debut in 2020.

‘Westworld’ Season 3 Trailer Focuses on New Cast Member Aaron Paul
Ahead of the final episode of “Game of Thrones,” HBO released the first trailer for the new season of another flagship show: “Westworld.”

The first look at the third season of the sci-fi show puts the focus on new series regular Aaron Paul, best known for his run on “Breaking Bad.” The trailer doesn’t reveal much in the way of plot, but we do get the first look at the environment and, of course, Paul’s entrance into the series.

It shows him walking across a bridge before coming across Evan Rachel Wood’s Dolores, who appears to be in some sort of distress. He asks if she needs any help, but he may come to regret the well-intentioned gesture.

“They said they would make a better world — smooth away the rough edges,” intoned Paul’s voiceover. “But that was a lie. I guess the rough edges are the

Westworld Looks Like Another Show Entirely in First Season 3 Teaser

Westworld Looks Like Another Show Entirely in First Season 3 Teaser
Aaron Paul navigates a strange, “rotting” world in the very first teaser for Season 3 of HBO’s Westworld.

In the first, jarringly unfamiliar footage from the new season (premiering in… 2020), Paul’s character delivers a rather maudlin narration, while Pink Floyd’s “Brain Damage” plays in the background and we get glimpses of a world outside the park.

At the very end, just as Paul’s character talks of needing to find “something, someone real,” who does he lay eyes upon but Evan Rachel Wood’s weary Dolores, heh.

The Breaking Bad alum is a series regular for Season 3, though

‘Les Miserables’ Film Review: Socially Minded Thriller Breathes New Life Into an Old Tale

Last July, the city of Paris echoed with cries of joy as thousands upon thousands took to the streets to celebrate their country’s World Cup victory over Croatia. The moment of social unity did not endure, but it left a lasting impression — shots of the celebrations play as an overture for Ladj Ly’s “Les Miserables,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

Mind you, the French director does not linger on the punch-drunk joy for very long; he is, after all, more interested in the hangover that would soon follow.

With his feature debut, Ly sets out to explore the various social and economic fissures that could take a society from collective triumph to revolutionary anger over just a matter of days – fissures that are hardly limited to France, and, as the Victor Hugo-evoking title would suggest, in no way unique to the 21st Century.

Film Review: Default (2018) by Choi Kook-hee

For every developing economy that sees a swift and vast expansion, there comes a moment that eventually sees the bubble burst. For a majority of East Asian countries, that moment came with the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, where one of the worst hit countries at the time was South Korea. Director Choi Kook-hee’s sophomore feature “Default” aims to take a look at what went on behind the scenes as the government tread those slippery slopes while also depicting how the crisis affected the common people.

“Default” will be the next Teaser Screening for the London Korean Film Festival 2019

The film relies on three parallel storylines to explain the crisis, its cause and effect. The first is that of Han Si-hyeon, an analyst at the Bank of Korea who can see the oncoming disaster clear as day, as the nation uses its foreign currency reserves to keep the Dollar-to-Won exchange rate falsely steady.

The film, a social comedy starring Vincent Cassel and Reda Kateb and a cast of nonprofessional actors and teens with autism, will play following the festival’s May 25 awards ceremony in what the festival now bills as Last Screening. Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu is leading this year’s jury of competition titles.

The Specials,” which was submitted at the last minute to the selection committee, evokes social and contemporary issues, where the collective world is once again at the heart of everything: social workers, volunteers, health professionals all striving to take care of teens with autism.

“This film is more than contemporary and carries great promises for the future,” festival general delegate Thierry Frémaux said in a statement.

The Specials, the latest feature from The Intouchables filmmaking duo Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, has been set to close out the 72nd Cannes Film Festival — just don’t call it the “Closing Film.” Cannes organizers said today that they’re doing away with the distinction, preferring to brand the final pic of the Riviera shindig as the “Last Screening.” There are a couple of pop culture winks in the switch: In French, the final movie will henceforth officially be referred to as “La Dernière Séance” which is the local title of Peter Bogdanovich’s 1971 Oscar winner The Last Picture Show, as well as a tune by French actor/singer Eddy Mitchell.

The Specials, a social comedy that was submitted at the last minute to the selection committee, will screen in the Lumière Theater after the Closing ceremony on Saturday May 25.
