‘Get Shorty’: Isaac Keys Upped To Series Regular For Season 3; Michaela Watkins & Seychelle Gabriel To Recur

‘Get Shorty’: Isaac Keys Upped To Series Regular For Season 3; Michaela Watkins & Seychelle Gabriel To Recur
Exclusive: Isaac Keys has been promoted to series regular and Michaela Watkins (Casual) and Seychelle Gabriel (Sleepy Hollow) have been tapped for recurring roles on the upcoming third season of Epix’s Get Shorty, from MGM Television. Production is underway in Vancouver for premiere this fall on Epix.

Key has recurred as Ed since the first season of the series, starring Chris O’Dowd and Ray Romano, appearing in a total of 18 episodes. Ed is Amara’s (Lidia Porto) bodyguard and a top lieutenant in her gang. He’s intimidating and built like a linebacker, but is intelligent and has a quiet confidence and dignity about him. Ed may not seem important, but he is perhaps the person Amara trusts most.

Get Shorty is based in part on Elmore Leonard’s 1990 bestselling novel — which also spawned Barry Sonnenfeld’s 1995 feature — and created for television by Davey Holmes. The series follows Miles Daly (O’Dowd), muscle for a Nevada crime ring who tries to become a movie producer in Hollywood with the help of a washed-up producer, Rick Moreweather (Romano), as a means to leave his criminal past behind.

In season two, Miles (O’Dowd) struggled to reconcile his ambitions as a filmmaker and a family man with his skill set as a career criminal. His progress in Hollywood is jeopardized when his washed-up producing partner Rick (Romano) agrees to wear a federal wire and begins a romantic relationship with dangerous crime boss Amara De Escalones (Porto).

Season three finds Miles embracing more ruthless methods as he settles scores in an attempt to continue climbing the Hollywood ladder.

Cast also includes series regulars Sean Bridgers, Carolyn Dodd, Goya Robles and Megan Stevenson. Steven Weber and Sarah Stiles are recurring guest stars.

Get Shorty season three is executive produced by Holmes and Adam Arkin. The series is produced by MGM Television and internationally distributed by MGM.

Keys is repped by Apa, Infinity Entertainment, and Ginsburg Daniels.

Blu-ray Review – The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot

The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, 2018.

Directed by Robert D. Krzykowski.

Starring Sam Elliott, Aidan Turner, Sean Bridgers, Caitlin FitzGerald, Larry Miller, Kelley Curran.

Synopsis:

A man kills Hitler and then later in later life kills the Bigfoot. No, really…

Every so often a movie comes along that just connects; you don’t know why and when asked you can’t explain it – it just does, and even when the title of said movie is as brilliant as The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot people will still ask “what is it about?”.

The short answer is that it is about exactly what you think it is about – a man, in this case Calvin Barr (at this point in the movie played by Poldark’s Aidan Turner), does indeed kill Hitler in a revisionist version of World War II before we join him in later

Second Trailer for HBO's 'Deadwood' Movie with McShane & Olyphant

"It'd be a pity not to recognize what's at stake." HBO has released a full official trailer for their upcoming Deadwood movie, which is using the title Deadwood: The Movie. Based on the hit western TV series that originally premiered in 2004, this Deadwood movie continues where that left off and follows many of the same characters from the gold-mining camp of Deadwood. Ian McShane stars as Al Swearengen, with Timothy Olyphant, and a cast featuring John Hawkes, Molly Parker, Brad Dourif, Kim Dickens, Sean Bridgers, Robin Weigert, Anna Gunn, Jeffrey Jones, Paula Malcomson, and Tony Curran. This looks pretty dang good, but also seem to be mostly for the fans than anyone else. This trailer goes back and forth between arguing and then shooting, lots & lots of shooting. Just like it was in the old west, right? Here's the second official trailer for Daniel Minahan's Deadwood movie, direct from

Deadwood: The Movie Trailer #2 Is Here Reigniting Old Rivalries and Alliances

HBO has unveiled the trailer for Deadwood: The Movie and it finds Ian McShane's Al Swearengen back with some new problems and old rivalries. The network has also revealed the official title for the long awaited project, which is Deadwood: The Movie. We were treated to our first look at the movie earlier this year with a short teaser, but things are shown in a bit more graphic detail in the latest full-length trailer, bringing back Swearengen's trademark use of foul language.

Deadwood originally aired on HBO from 2004 to 2006, but was later unceremoniously canceled after a dispute between studio Paramount Television and HBO. Series creator David Milch agreed to end the series with a 2-hour movie, originally set to air on the network to offer fans some closure to the cult favorite. However, the movie never ended up happening, despite quite a bit of talking about it over the years,

‘Deadwood’ Rides Again

‘Deadwood’ Rides Again
Bullets are about to fly across Deadwood’s muddy thoroughfare. But first, poetry.

It’s a crisp November morning at Melody Ranch, the venerable Santa Clarita studio that’s been home to everything from squeaky-clean Gene Autry Westerns to Django Unchained and Westworld. The picaresque main street has been dressed to recapture the look it had for three years in the mid-2000s, when it was home to one of the greatest TV dramas ever made: HBO’s Deadwood, a gorgeously profane meditation on the American experiment and the painful

Movie Review – The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot (2019)

The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, 2019.

Written and Directed by Robert D. Krzykowski.

Starring Sam Elliott, Aidan Turner, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Larry Miller, Ellar Coltrane, Sean Bridgers, Rizwan Manji, Mark Steger, and Ron Livingston.

Synopsis:

A legendary American war veteran is recruited to hunt a mythical creature.

Less about killing Hitler and Bigfoot, writer and director Robert D. Krzykowski’s bizarre genre mashup debut feature, tantalizingly titled The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, is first and foremost a character study of an aging World War II veteran having flashback recollections of the all-important heroic duty that ended up causing complications with subsequent phases and different areas of his life. It also helps that this former special operative is played by none other than all-time great character actor Sam Elliott.

Trust me, I’m fully aware that the title is supremely silly and gives off vibes

‘The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot’ Review

Stars: Aidan Turner, Sam Elliott, Sean Bridgers, Ron Livingston, Caitlin FitzGerald, Ellar Coltrane, Larry Miller, Rizwan Manji, Mark Steger, Anastasia Tsikhanava | Written and Directed by Robert D. Krzykowski

With a title like The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot, people going to see this movie will probably be expecting something very strange. And that’s kind of what you get but in a different way than you might think.

I will say it immediately, this is not a ridiculous B-movie that the title may suggest. It has one moment or scene in particular that goes down that route but that is it. This is much more serious than I expected and a good chunk of the movie is spent focusing on a love story between the ‘man’, Calvin Barr (played by Aidan Turner in his younger years and Sam Elliott in his later life). The love story unfortunately

Al Swearengen is f—in’ back. HBO released the first trailer for “Deadwood: The Movie” on Thursday, which was also the 15th anniversary of the series premiere of “Deadwood.”

The teaser (watch above) doesn’t give too much away from the film, which is scheduled to premiere Friday, May 31 at 8/7c, aka the final day of Emmy eligibility, but it’s so nice to see those faces and ‘staches again. Set in 1889, the film follows Al Swearengen (Ian McShane) & Co. as they reunite after a decade to celebrate South Dakota’s statehood. Needless to say, things don’t go too smoothly. Per HBO, “former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds reopened as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”

“You ever think, Bullock, of not going straight at a thing,” Al asks in the clip.

“No,” Bullock (Timothy Olyphant) deadpans.

The Man Who Killed Hitler and then The Bigfoot

The man who did what and then what? Robert D. Krzykowski’s first feature isn’t a throwaway joke, but an elegantly crafted and designed fantasy grounded in human values. Sam Elliott’s crusty sixty-something secret agent comes out of retirement to save the world again — will the slaying of another bizarre horror lay to rest disturbing memories of a secret WW2 mission? This thing will be a pleasant discovery for those in pursuit of ‘something completely different.’ The intentionally awkward title is jarring, but it fits because I’ve never seen anything quite like this before.

Sam Elliott in 'The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot' Trailer

"I never wanted that. Even if he had it coming... And he did." Rlje Entertainment has debuted the official trailer for an indie film titled The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot, which is one of the best titles for a film in the last few years. This character study is not so much an action film or a thriller, but more of a look at the life of Calvin Barr, played by Sam Eillott, indeed the man who killed Hitler and then years later killed Bigfoot (to save the world). The film is not what you're expecting, but is actually impressive in quite a few ways - Elliott's performance is outstanding, and the cinematography/look of everything is very cinematic. The small cast of the film includes Aidan Turner, Ron Livingston, Sean Bridgers. Caitlin FitzGerald, Larry Miller, Ellar Coltrane, and Mark Steger as The Bigfoot. Fs is
