One of the most noted German dubbing voices and voice actors.
Born to parents who fled Silesia at the end of World War II, he grew up in Cologne.
Founded his own audiobook label Parlando together with his wife Waltraut.
Winner of the 2005 German Audiobook Award in the "Special Audiobook" category.
While another actor dubbed Robert De Niro in the original version of Once Upon a Time in America (1984), he was his dubbing voice in the DVD version.
Studied sociology, drama and German studies in Berlin.
Is the German standard dubbing voice for Robert DeNiro. He also dubbed Jon Voight, Dennis Hopper and Edward James Olmos.
