Mildred Davis was born on February 22, 1901 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA as Mildred Hillary Davis. She was an actress, known for Safety Last! (1923), A Sailor-Made Man (1921) and Grandma's Boy (1922). She was married to Harold Lloyd. She died on August 18, 1969 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

In her later life, she suffered from depression and serious (though short-lived) drinking spells.

Retired from acting in films (regularly) in 1923. Though her style of acting and look were waning in popularity at the time, husband Harold Lloyd also discouraged her from continuing an acting career.
Throughout her married life, close friend (and Harold's secretary) Roy Brooks lived with the Lloyds at Greenacres and kept Mildred company when Harold was not at home.
Was among the elite list of Hollywood starlets for the role of the young Swedish soprano Christine Daaé in the film adaption of Gaston Leroux's novella "Le Fantôme de l'Opéra" (The Phantom of the Opera) in 1924, that Carl Laemmle wanted.
Mildred and her husband Harold Lloyd are mentioned twice in the Drake Bell song "End it Good" off of his 2006 album "It's Only Time".
