Marta Dusseldorp was born in 1973 in Australia. She is an actress and producer, known for A Place to Call Home (2013), Janet King (2014) and Jack Irish (2016). She is married to Benjamin Winspear. They have two children.

Grand-daughter of multi-millionaire Australian philanthropist Dick Dusseldorp who founded the developer Lend Lease - his other achievements included building Australia Square and much of the Sydney Opera House.
Her nine-month-old brother died of leukaemia when she was 8-years-old in 1981. She also has twin brothers.
She studied at the University of New South Wales for two years, majoring in theatre and film and then went on to study at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne.
[September 2005] She was one of 12 actors who were offered exclusive two-year contracts by the Sydney Theatre Company to be known as the Actors Company. The other actors also offered contracts are: Deborah Mailman, John Gaden, Pamela Rabe, Peter Carroll, Dan Spielman, Brandon Burke, Eden Falk, Marco Chiappi and Hayley McElhinney.
Her on screen husband on A Place to Call Home is played by her husband in real life. Benjamin Winspear.
She is of Dutch ancestry.
