TVLine Performers of the Week: Michelle Williams and Lauren German
The Performer | Michelle Williams

The Show | Fosse/Verdon

The Episode | “Where Am I Going?” (May 7, 2019)

The Performance | Fosse/Verdon‘s Gwen Verdon is as great an actress off-stage as she is on it, putting on a brave face and an unshakeable smile no matter what life throws at her. This week, though, she finally reached her breaking point, and Williams — who’s been stellar all season long — topped herself with a heartbreaking, emotionally raw performance.

Tom Ellis on ‘Lucifer’ Season 4 Finale’s Hell of a Twist Ending: ‘I Love a Cliffhanger’ (Video)

Tom Ellis on ‘Lucifer’ Season 4 Finale’s Hell of a Twist Ending: ‘I Love a Cliffhanger’ (Video)
(Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Season 4 finale of “Lucifer”)

Oh, hell no. Just when Deckerstar shippers thought they had their happy ending, when they could see the light at the end of the tunnel (in a good way) and believed Chloe (Lauren German) and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) might finally get together, their hopes were dashed by the Devil’s decision to return to hell at the very end of “Lucifer” Season 4.

In the closing moments of the finale, titled “Who’s da New King of Hell?,” the detective told Lucifer she loved him and could accept him for who he truly was, devil face and all. But because he had just been through a battle to save his newborn nephew (congrats Amenadiel and Linda!) from demons who wanted to raise him to be the new king of hell, Lucifer decided he finally needed to go back way down

Lucifer: Season Four Viewer Votes

Is the fourth season of the Lucifer TV show on Netflix earning its salvation from prior cancellation? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like Lucifer is cancelled or renewed for season five, and declining ratings are what damned it on a broadcast network. Although things are a little different, now that it's on a streaming service, viewers still want to testify to their own opinions. So, here is your chance to rate all the Lucifer season four episodes.

A Netflix fantasy drama, Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Db Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Scarlett Estevez, Inbar Lavi, Vinessa Vidotto and Graham McTavish. The supernatural procedural centers on Lucifer Morningstar (Ellis) who abandoned his throne, retired to Los Angeles, opened up a nightclub, and started helping Lapd Detective

‘Lucifer’ Star Tom Ellis on Chloe’s ‘Betrayal’ and How Lucifer Could Possibly Forgive Her Now (Video)

‘Lucifer’ Star Tom Ellis on Chloe’s ‘Betrayal’ and How Lucifer Could Possibly Forgive Her Now (Video)
(Warning: This post contains spoilers for “Lucifer” Season 4 through Episode 6)

How do you forgive someone for deciding to send you to hell? That’s the unusual problem Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is struggling with in the middle of “Lucifer” Season 4, because Chloe (Lauren German) was, well seriously considering sending him back to hell.

And though she did change her mind and go against the plan she’d been hatching with the mysterious Father Kinley (Graham McTavish) to send the Devil way down under, Lucifer is hurt enough by Chloe’s intentions that their relationship could be forever changed.

“It’s the first time there has ever been any betrayal between the two of them and Lucifer can’t get his head around the fact that the detective would do that, irrespective of the fact that she’s just found out he’s the actual Devil,” Ellis told TheWrap in the interview above.

How Lucifer Has Changed in Season 4 and How It Also Hasn't

You can't keep the devil down.  After Fox canceled it, Lucifer found a second life at Netflix, and that fourth miraculous season is finally here with some very important stuff to deal with. Namely, Chloe (Lauren German) just found out that Lucifer (Tom Ellis), her partner/the guy she just kissed, is actually the real-life devil. Not only that, but the devil's real, and so are Heaven and Hell. It was a major bombshell for Chloe and a big change for the series, and it was also almost the end of the series until Netflix saved the day.  Thank god it wasn't, because now we get to pick back up with an anxious Lucifer awaiting Chloe's return from her "vacation" to find out exactly how she...

Lucifer Season 4 Premiere Post Mortem: Lauren German Reveals What the Devil Chloe Has Been Up To

The following contains spoilers for the Season 4 premiere of Lucifer.

Lucifer with its Season 4 premiere on Netflix at long last revealed how Chloe reacted to seeing the true face of her longtime partner in crimesolving — though we didn’t see her reaction ourselves.

No, as Lucifer shared during the cold open while beating on some baddies, the twosome’s “moment” in the immediate aftermath of Cain’s death was interrupted by the arrival of law enforcement. After that, Chloe disappeared on an impetuous mother/daughter trip with Trixie. Their destination: Italy. And when in Rome, as they say… consult with

‘Lucifer': Tom Ellis Says Chloe Is ‘Plotting Against Lucifer’ on Season 4 (Video)

‘Lucifer': Tom Ellis Says Chloe Is ‘Plotting Against Lucifer’ on Season 4 (Video)
Will Chloe (Lauren German) be able to accept Lucifer (Tom Ellis) as the devil, now that she finally has come face to face with the fact that he truly is the devil? “Well, I mean, that is the big question and I think that’s Lucifer’s main concern,” Ellis told TheWrap in an interview ahead of the Season 4 premiere of “Lucifer” on Netflix this Wednesday.

“When we open the season, we realize that it’s a month after the reveal at the end of Season 3 and the detective disappeared,” Ellis said. “She kind of left that scene when the police swarmed in and Lucifer never saw her again, she took her child and she went somewhere. And he hasn’t heard from her, he’s heard nothing at all. So he’s been wallowing in this kind of self hatred for a month.”

“And just as he’s starting

Why ‘Lucifer’ Season 4 Is the ‘Most Emotional Season’

  • Variety
You can’t keep a good devil down.

Nearly a year after its Fox cancellation, “Lucifer” returns with a 10-episode fourth season at its new Netflix home.

Creatively, the shift came at a pivotal moment for the series. The Season 3 finale found the title character (Tom Ellis) revealing his true devil face to his partner/potential love interest Chloe (Lauren German).

“It is our most emotional season,” executive producer Joe Henderson tells Variety. “For the first time, Chloe and Lucifer have to be honest with each other — and it’s harder than both of them might realize. That gave us so much story.”

There’s also external drama for the would-be couple: The biblical Eve (Inbar Lavi) shows up, determined to reunite with Lucifer, while “Preacher” co-star Graham McTavish pops up as a priest with a tie to an unlikely character.

Here, Henderson and executive producer Ildy Modrovich discuss the

On the Set With Lucifer: The Devil Is in These Details About Netflix's Season 4 Rescue of the Supernatural Series
Lauren German knows the exact question that has been on many a Lucifer fan’s mind ever since Chloe saw her partner’s true face:

“Is knowing he’s the Devil going to be a roadblock to them going to Bonetown?”

Yes, German’s many skills include an ability to cut the chase after TVLine clumsily tried to phrase that question more delicately (the word “consummation” may have been used). And as for the answer…? We’ll get to that in a bit. Suffice to say, Season 4 of the supernatural-tinged procedural (all 10 episodes arrive on Netflix Wednesday, May 8) will make

Deckstar fans might be taken aback by the Season 4 trailer for “Lucifer,” which reveals Chloe (Lauren German) is seemingly Ok after seeing Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) true face — but that doesn’t mean she can accept him for who he truly is. You know who can, though? His “first love” Eve (Inbar Lavi). That’s right, Eve, of Adam and Eve.

The one-minute, 56-second trailer, released by Netflix on Thursday, we see the Detective return from a trip after discovering Lucifer actually is the Devil himself at the end of Season 3. Heathers of Horror: Heather Matarazzo Talks Hostel: Part II

[To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the cult classic Heathers, we're celebrating all week long with "Heathers of Horror" special features highlighting our favorite horror performances by women with the same name as the iconic clique from the 1989 dark comedy! Check here to catch up on all of our "Heathers Week" special features!]

While the film has certainly received a lot of grief from a variety of sources—fans, critics, even ratings boards—ever since its release in 2007, you can count this writer amongst the fans of Eli Roth’s Hostel: Part II. There’s no denying that the sequel took the brutality of the original Hostel even further, but what I have always appreciated about both movies is how Roth took on how we examine violence in cinema and made it something that was both thoroughly uncomfortable and endlessly entertaining in the same token, ushering in a new wave of ultra-gore horror, for better or worse.

In new photos released from the former-Fox drama’s upcoming fourth season of Netflix on Thursday, which you can view below, Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is hanging with two very different ladies: Eve (Inbar Lavi) and Chloe (Lauren German). And while Chloe appears to be smiling at Lucifer in a forgiving way that is going to tug at Team Deckstar fans’ heartstrings in the most sinful way possible, Eve’s smirky intro is equally entertaining.

Here’s the description for Season 4: “Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago … or something else entirely?
