The titles were revealed via a massive Twitter thread and announced brand new movies from the likes of David Fincher, Ron Howard, Ben Wheatley, Spike Lee, and Tyler Perry, who has one of the first films to drop on 17th January.

Perhaps Netflix’s most anticipated 2020 feature film is “Mank,” the first feature directorial effort from David Fincher since the 2014 release of “Gone Girl.” The movie is expected to launch in the fall as one of the streamer’s top Oscar contenders.
Lee confirmed the project with IndieWire.
Set in the 1980s, in “Da People’s Republic of Brooklyn,” Lee’s favorite domain, the official synopsis for the novel reads: “‘Prince of Cats’ is played at an eighties block party in a NY where underground sword dueling blossomed alongside hip-hop, punk, disco and no wave. It’s the story of the minor players with Tybalt at the center.”
After being out of print for four years, the novel was re-worked and re-released in 2016.
The adaptation has been in development since July 2018, when it was announced
Spike Lee is expected to shop She's Gotta Have It series to other outlets as he works on Da 5 Bloods for Netflix.
She's Gotta Have It season 3 is up for grabs. Netflix has canceled Spike Lee’s series less than two months after its season 2 premiere, according to Variety. The series, which was titled after the filmmaker's 1986 feature film debut, follows Nola Darling as a young sex-positive, polyamorous pansexual graphic artist based in Brooklyn.
“Spike Lee is one of the greatest filmmakers of all time and we’re thrilled he brought the series She’s Gotta Have It to Netflix,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said in a statement. “While this is our last season, we’re very proud that it will be on our service for years to come, and excited to be working with Spike on his upcoming Netflix film Da 5 Bloods.
For Season Three, Better Things dropped its original opening credits sequence scored to John Lennon’s “Mother,” opting for a shorter one where the song frequently changes. This isn’t the show’s first time at the Grammys. The original concept album was nominated for Album of the Year back in 1972, but lost to Carole King for her second studio album, “Tapestry.” The very next year the Broadway cast recording was nominated for Album of the Year, but it lost too; Grammy voters picked “The Concert for Bangladesh” by George Harrison and Friends instead. So the iconic rock opera has a major Grammy Iou, especially considering how its creators — composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Tim Rice — went on to win multiple Grammys themselves.
Bareilles is nominated for Best Musical Theater Album for the soundtrack for “Jesus Christ Superstar,” the live NBC concert event that also earned her an Emmy bid for Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actress a few months ago. She played Mary Magdalene, and she’s one of the principal soloists credited with the nomination along with Alice Cooper, Ben Daniels, Brandon Victor Dixon, Erik Gronwall, Jin Ha, Norm Lewis, Jason Tam and Jesus himself, John Legend.
