David Livingston is a producer and director, known for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) and Star Trek: Voyager (1995). He has been married to Dorothy Livingston since August 23, 2013. He was previously married to Kristina Hayes.

Livingston, the lionfish that lived in Jean-Luc Picard's ready room aquarium in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), is named after him.
He directed 62 episodes of the "Star Trek" franchise (two of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), 17 of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), 28 of Star Trek: Voyager (1995) and 15 of Star Trek: Enterprise (2001)), more than anyone else.
