Beyonce could win Emmy, Grammy and Oscar in the span of 5 months thanks to ‘Homecoming’ and ‘The Lion King’
Beyonce doesn’t really need more awards hardware to cement her status as the current queen of pop culture, but she may get it anyway. She already has 23 Grammys, which makes her the second most awarded woman in the history of the awards (behind Alison Krauss), but she could add to that total in 2020. In fact, between this September and next February, Beyonce could win Emmys and Oscars, too.

First up, Beyonce could win Emmys for writing, directing and producing “Homecoming.” The Netflix special, which focuses on her widely acclaimed Coachella performance from 2018, is a contender for Best Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), but this wouldn’t be the recording artist’s first brush with TV’s biggest prize. She has already accumulated four nominations from the television academy: Best Short Form Entertainment Program for her 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Best Special Class Program for “On the Run Tour” with Jay-Z, Best

We Finally Have a General Idea of What Frozen II Will Be About

The Frozen II teaser came out a couple weeks ago, and while it showed us glimpses of some pretty wicked stuff, it didn’t really give us any idea what the movie will actually be about. Like, there is a badass sequence where Elsa is using her powers to freeze waves to try to run across the sea, but maybe that’s just her new cardio? It does appear that the sisters are on some kind of quest, and Anna’s sword slash at the end definitely gives the impression that there is danger afoot, but what are they questing for and who might be trying to stop them? Well, I still can’t answer the latter question, but we have gotten a hint about the former. Bloggers Jim Hill and Drew Taylor announced on their Fine Tooning podcast:

“It is about Anna and Elsa searching for what actually happened to their parents…

Disney has released the first teaser trailer and poster for Frozen 2. The highly anticipated sequel to the original 2013 hit film, Frozen was a massive cultural phenomenon. This was partly due to the success of the accompanying song, “Let it Go”. Now, the first trailer for Frozen 2 teases Elsa and Anna’s return as they journey beyond Arendelle for a new adventure. Check out the brand new trailer for Frozen 2 below.

Frozen 2 Trailer

Overall, this trailer is pretty great. There’s no dialogue, and it’s all just visual storytelling. Although this trailer is intentionally vague, it’s a bold approach considering it’s both a children’s film and highly anticipated film. Moreover, the animation and rendering here looks absolutely stunning. The shift to a different season of the year is a welcome visual change. Finally, it’s good to know that “Let it Go” wasn’t hugely referenced here,
