John Megna was born on November 9, 1952 in Queens, New York, USA as John Anthony Ingolia. He was an actor, known for To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), The Cannonball Run (1981) and Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964). He died on September 5, 1995 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Ex-brother-in-law of Eddie Fisher, uncle of Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher, uncle-in-law of Christopher Duddy.
Turned to stage directing as an adult.
Father was a druggist; mother a one-time night club singer.
Megna's Broadway success at age 7 in 1960's "All the Way Home" led to his being cast as 'Dill', the toothy young summer visitor, in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962) with Gregory Peck. The character of 'Dill' was based on author Harper Lee's childhood friend, writer Truman Capote.
Graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., where he majored in performing arts.
He was the founding director of L.A. Arts, a nonprofit theater group in Los Angeles.
