Children: Drew and Daniel Sackheim.
Emmy award-winning American film and TV producer and writer, credited with making a star of Sally Field by casting her as the lead of "Gidget". He was also responsible for starring Judd Hirsch in the TV series "Delvecchio" and for promoting John Badham from the casting department of Universal in 1968, three years later (as executive producer) giving him his first directorial assignment.
