The new comedy-drama “No Pay, Nudity” follows an aging actor as he struggles with work and life in his twilight years. Gabriel Byrne (“Miller’s Crossing”) stars as Lester Rosenthal who navigates the new realities of the world while continuing to pursue his dreams and dignity. Rlj Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to Paul Schrader’s action thriller “Dog Eat Dog.” Based on the novel by Edward Bunker, the film was written by Matthew Wilder and stars Nicolas Cage, Willem Dafoe and Christopher Matthew Cook. The film first premiered at the 69th Cannes Film Festival and will have its North American premiere at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Concourse Media and Ontario-based funding partner Productivity Media said on Friday they have acquired Impossible Things, which they claim to be the industry’s first feature-length screenplay written by augmented intelligence.

Concourse Media’s Andrew Felts (pictured at left) and Matthew Shreder (pictured at right), Productivity Media CEO William Santor, and Greenlight Enterprise founder Jack Zhang will attend Toronto next month to introduce the augmented intelligence software to the industry.

The script was created by Greenlight Enterprise’s intuitive data and analytics tool that uses audience taste, plot attributes and industry trends culled from social media data points to shape storylines and target locations and cast.

Impossible Things centres on a grieving mother who begins to see visions.

She Loves Me is a 1963 musical with a book by Joe Masteroff, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, and music by Jerry Bock. The plot revolves around Budapest shop employees Georg Nowack and Amalia Balash who, despite being consistently at odds with each other at work, are unaware that each is the other's secret pen pal met through lonely-hearts ads. The Revival cast featured Boyd Gaines as Georg, Judy Kuhn as Amalia, Sally Mayes as Ilona, Howard McGillin as Kodaly, Lee Wilkof as Ladislav, Brad Kane as Arpad, and Louis Zorich as Mr. Maraczek. A revival cast recording was released by Varese Sarabande.
