Ciaran Donnelly is an Irish director, producer and writer. He's just finished directing the first two episodes of the epic Altered Carbon's new season (Netflix/Skydance). Recently he rebooted the pilot of Krypton for David Goyer, and co-EP'd the series (SyFy/Warner/DC).

His work includes multiple episodes of Vikings for History/MGM, Tudors for Showtime and he served as the EP/director on Discovery's Harley and the Davidsons and NBC's AD and Crossbones. His other US work includes Tyrant, Once Upon a Time. And in the UK, all the episodes of Titanic: Blood & Steel, Robin Hood, Proof (including the pilot), Spooks and his BAFTA winning Cold Feet. He has garnered three Irish IFTA's for best director. His original two-part drama, Stardust, aired on RTE in Ireland to excellent reviews. He also directed the comedic one-off film, Big Dippers, for Red and ITV in England.

Writing and Developing Ciaran has created and written the pilot for 'Townsend', a ten part Dublin set character driven series for Bron Studios and RTE. His latest creation is "Sarah Says" is also being developed with RTE. On the feature film front Ciaran is developing 'The Hostage's Daughter' based on Sulome Anderson's autobiographical search for her journalist father's kidnappers in Lebanon.Feature film 'Hound' is set to introduce a new world of Irish mythological characters. Ciaran is also developing Irish hit novel 'Cornflakes for Breakfast' for a movie.
