David Arnold (‘Good Omens’ composer) on the inspiration for his score: ‘What if Walt Disney was possessed by Satan?’ [Exclusive Video Interview]

David Arnold (‘Good Omens’ composer) on the inspiration for his score: ‘What if Walt Disney was possessed by Satan?’ [Exclusive Video Interview]
In composing the score for “Good Omens,” David Arnold asked himself, “What would happen if Walt Disney was possessed by Satan?” That seemed appropriate for this long-awaited TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett‘s fantasy novel about an angel (Michael Sheen) and a demon (David Tennant) teaming up to prevent Armageddon. Watch our exclusive video interview with Arnold above.

See Anne Oldham interview: ‘Good Omens’ hair and makeup

That initial concept came from a scene where Tennant tries to get the young Antichrist to fall asleep. “He does it by singing him very sweetly a song about [how] when the world is destroyed, he’ll be in charge of it and humanity will be wrought of blood and guts,” Arnold explains. It was “the opposite of what you would sing to a child in that situation,” but he wrote it as if it were “the sort of thing that

Falcon appeared in the Cinematic Marvel Universe for the first time in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).

Played by Anthony Mackie, he is Sam Wilson, a former Air Force officer who helps Captain America using the wings of experimental flight equipment. In Captain America: Civil War (2016) he won an accompanying drone called Red Wing, a homage to the hero’s mascot-like bird in the comics. In Avengers: Endgame, the winged hero returns alongside the once snapped heroes to defend the Earth from Thanos.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Micheal Shannon's The Current War Has a Release Date!

The Current War was originally supposed to be released back in 2017, but after the The Weinstein Company went bankrupt, this film fell into limbo. But, that is no longer the case! The newly formed 101 Studio will now be distributing the film and they’ve announced that the film will open in select theaters on October 4th, 2019, and everywhere on October 11th, 2019!

I was really excited about this movie as it told the true story behind the electricity battle that took place between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse. For those of you who didn’t know, Edison’s company wanted to use direct current while Westinghouse thought alternating current was the way to go. This was a cutthroat competition.

This is a story that has fascinated me for a long time and it will be brought to life with a fantastic cast that includes Benedict Cumberbatch as Thomas Edison, Michael Shannon as George Westinghouse,

Doctor Strange is the Sorcerer Supreme of the Marvel Universe, created by Stan Lee along with Steve Ditko in 1963.

Stephen Strange was a brilliant neurosurgeon, but his arrogant, selfish and greedy persona made him unpopular. When he suffered a car accident that damaged the nerves of his hands preventing him from work as a medical surgeon, he exhausted his fortune in trying to heal himself. With his last resources, he went to the East in search of an old wizard called “the Elder” and ended up becoming his apprentice in the mystical arts.

Everything We Know So Far About Sherlock Season 5

If one thing is for certain, it’s that the fate and future of BBC’s Sherlock are messy, to say the least. When it first debuted, the series – which stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman – received critical acclaim for its clever writing, visual design, and strong direction, all held together by creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, both of whom are best known for their work on Doctor Who.

Unfortunately, despite a massive fanbase and worldwide popularity, the series began to stumble. While the first three seasons were well received by critics and fans alike, the fourth (which aired in early 2017) didn’t enjoy the same success, thanks in part to a finale that many argue was convoluted, contrived, and poorly written.

101 Studios announced Tuesday that the film would open in limited release on Oct. 4, then go wide on the following weekend. Cumberbatch stars as Edison while Shannon portrays Westinghouse. Nicholas Hoult stars as Nikola Tesla.

The film, which premiered at the 2017 Toronto Film Festival, was to be distributed later that year by the Weinstein Company but was shelved following the Harvey Weinstein sexual abuse allegations. 101 Studios bought the North American rights several months ago from Lantern Entertainment, which handled the TWC assets.

The cast includes Katherine Waterston, Tuppence Middleton, Tom Holland and Matthew Macfadyen. Director Alfonso Gomez-Rejon has added

Jason Mitchell Not Returning for ‘The Chi’ Season 3, Faces Potential Misconduct Allegations — Report

Jason Mitchell Not Returning for ‘The Chi’ Season 3, Faces Potential Misconduct Allegations — Report
After two seasons as a face of the Showtime series “The Chi,” Jason Mitchell will not be returning to the series for Season 3. In addition, Deadline is reporting that serious misconduct allegations have prompted representatives at UTA to drop him as a client, and he has left the upcoming Netflix film, “Desperados,” as well. Mitchell’s departure from the film is reported as the first in what has quickly become a string of dismissals.

No additional details about the alleged misconduct have yet been confirmed, but the incident reportedly happened away from the film’s set.

Following his early exit from the film, Mitchell, who also appeared in the Dee Rees film “Mudbound” and the Nwa biopic “Straight Outta Compton,” was informed by producers on “The Chi” that he would not be asked to come back for the series’ third season. “The Chi,” created by Lena Waithe, was renewed for

Good Omens Review

Written back in 1990, the bestselling fantasy comedy novel Good Omens from Neil Gaiman – who’d just started The Sandman for Vertigo a year earlier – and the late, great Sir Terry Pratchett was published and has never gone out of favor since. The hilarious, imaginative tale of an angel and demon teaming up to save the world when the Antichrist is born had obvious cinematic potential. So, it’s not a surprise that Terry Gilliam once developed a movie version in the early 00s with Johnny Depp and Robin Williams attached to star.

However, the project – ironically, for a story about the spawn of the devil – dwelt in development hell for years. That is, until Gaiman decided to take matters into his own hands. After Pratchett asked his co-writer to helm the TV adaptation of the book that was in early development at the time (in a letter delivered posthumously), Good Omens finally got going.
