Marvel Studios producer nearly vetoed Captain Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame look

Victoria Alonso, the Evp of production for Marvel Studios, almost vetoed Captain Marvel’s new look for Avengers: Endgame.

Carol Danvers didn’t take very long to make her debut in an Avengers movie after her first appearance, therefore not giving audiences too long to become acquainted with her and her look.

This was a concern of Marvel Studios Evp Victoria Alonso, who was worried that changing her look for Endgame by giving her a new shorter haircut might be confusing so soon after introducing the character. Speaking to IGN, she said:

“That haircut was a conversation. And I was against it for a while because I was afraid that people had just met her and had just realized who she was and then we were changing her hair. And I thought, is it too soon? But clearly, it wasn’t.”

‘The Walking Dead’ actors on Emmy ballot: Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan are submitted in guest, 5 others in supporting
This season “The Walking Dead” fans were forced to say goodbye to two of their favorite characters, Rick Grimes and Maggie Greene, and now AMC has decided to submit the actors who portrayed them as guest stars on the 2019 Emmy ballot. That’s right — as Gold Derby previously reported, former lead actor Andrew Lincoln and supporting actress Lauren Cohan can now be found in the guest categories for their tearful final appearances in the episode titled “What Comes After.” They both appeared in five of the season’s 16 episodes, which is well below the 50% threshold required to be submitted as a guest star.

Five other “The Walking Dead” supporting players are also hoping to hear their names called when the nominations are announced July 16: long-time cast members Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira and Melissa McBride and current bad guys Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Samantha Morton.

Avengers: Endgame almost featured the McU’s first “f*ck”

While the Marvel Studios policy seems to be to stick firmly in the family arena, it seems that Avengers: Endgame came close to pushing the boundaries of PG-13 by dropping the McU’s first (unbleeped) use of the word “fuck”.

Speaking to Empire Online, screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely discussed how they came up with Robert Downey Jr.’s final “I am Iron Man” line during filming, revealing that the scene went through many iterations on set, including one where Tony Stark drops the F-Bomb.

“I think there was ‘fuck you’ at one point. Didn’t he say ‘fuck off’? He may have said it… you do a lot of takes. Like can we really end all this on a complete swear? On a ‘kiss my ass Thanos’?”

While Tony telling Thanos to fuck off would surely have got a laugh from the audience (and probably infuriated a few

‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Post-Credits Scene Explained
(We’ve got some big ole spoilers for “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” in this article)

Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” despite being probably the most insane and epic and bizarre movie we’ll see all year, is a bit of a disappointment at the box office so far. But if you loved the latest monster mashup from Warner Bros, don’t worry — there’s still at least one more of these things on the way.

The next movie in this MonsterVerse franchis has already been filmed and is on the calendar for next year. And that movie is “Godzilla vs Kong.” As in King Kong. So of course we know the most basic premise of the next chapter.

Knowing that that movie is next up makes the post-credits scene on “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” a bit confusing since it does not tease or even mention King Kong. Instead,

Danai Gurira Keeping Tight-Lipped About Upcoming Walking Dead Exit

The Walking Dead is about to lose another of its biggest stars when the zombie drama returns for its tenth season this fall. Following Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan’s farewells last year, Danai Gurira is expected to have a much reduced role in season 10 before she’s written out of the show for good as Michonne.

The actress herself doesn’t seem ready to talk about her Twd goodbye publicly though, as she remained tight-lipped on the subject in an interview with THR. When asked about her upcoming exit, a light-hearted Gurira said she’ll keep her cards close to her chest for the time being:

“You guys have spoken elaborately about that, and I have not. And we’ll keep it that way.”

Avengers: Endgame directors explain why they needed to ban spoilers

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame, have explained what made their spoiler ban necessary.

Spoilers are an ever constant in our lives these days, with so many of our favourite films and TV shows becoming spoiled online before we get a chance to see them. This is an even bigger problem for filmmakers, who don’t want to see a detrimental impact on the success of their movie as a result of the story being leaked.

Of course, you can’t stop spoilers completely but directors like Joe and Anthony Russo have tried everything they can, even putting out a statement to fans, asking for a complete ban on spoiling the film. Speaking to THR, Joe discussed why this was important:

“This is the environment we live in now. We can’t control the internet. It’s its own monster. Whether there’s malicious intent or compulsive

Marvel Said To Be Eyeing Walking Dead Star For Multiple McU Roles

David Morrissey is most known for his fan favorite turn as the Governor in TV’s The Walking Dead, but a new rumor points to him potentially finding a role in another comic book franchise adapted for the screen. The biggest one there is, in fact: the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Insider Roger Wardell, whose information has proved reliable in the past, shared on Twitter the news that Marvel Studios are apparently big fans of the English actor and are looking over multiple roles to find the best one for him in the upcoming Phase Four.

We’ve already got the feeling that at least someone in Marvel’s casting department likes Twd, as two stars of the franchise have shown up in key roles in the franchise. Namely, Danai Gurira as Black Panther‘s Okoye – whose McU commitments have led to her quitting the AMC show after she appears for
