Dark Fate: What You Need to Know About the New Terminators and T-800
Terminator: Dark Fate director Tim Miller doesn't think people are going to be ready for Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800. We've seen very little of Schwarzenegger's iconic cyborg in the promotional material from the upcoming sequel, but fans are hoping that will change this weekend when Miller and crew take over Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. In addition to the original T-800, Dark Fate features a new Terminator along with a human-machine hybrid and Miller shared some information about them both.

Tim Miller is pretty sure fans aren't expecting what he and James Cameron have done with Terminator: Dark Fate. This goes for the latest cast additions and Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800. "I don't think people will be ready for what Arnold has become either, because it's very different," teases Miller. What exactly that means is unclear, but it is definitely intriguing. As for Gabriel Luna's updated Terminator character, Miller had this to say.

Why Linda Hamilton Really Wanted to Return as Sarah Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate
Linda Hamilton will finally return to the Terminator franchise later this year in Terminator: Dark Fate, and the fan favorite actress has revealed why now was the time to reprise the role of Sarah Connor. In the past, Hamilton turned down the chance to return to the movie series, considering her time as Sarah over with the conclusion of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Of course, Linda Hamilton is now clearly keen on reprising the role one more time, and in a new interview, the franchise star is opening up about her decision to finally go to war with the machines once again.

"There is a real gift in that so much time has passed, and that gives me so much more to explore with the character. Sarah Connor is the same person but I wanted to see how the difference in events have changed her and shaped her and send her forward.

Terminator: Dark Fate Creates a New Future for the Franchise

Don Kaye Jul 16, 2019

They're back! Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton reunite for Terminator: Dark Fate, and we've got the inside story.

If there is any film franchise potentially in need of hitting the reset button, it’s the Terminator series. Launched back in 1984 with The Terminator, a low-budget cult classic sci-fi thriller, and continued in 1991 with Terminator 2: Judgment Day, one of the most spectacular and groundbreaking action blockbusters of all time, the franchise sent itself down several different and twisting narrative roads over the course of three more movies and an acclaimed but short-lived TV show.

But now a new film, Terminator: Dark Fate (out Nov. 1), is taking a different tack. The story threads pursued in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, and Terminator Genisys have been jettisoned in favor of a direct sequel to writer/director James Cameron’s first two films. The contorted continuity that plagued the later entries is,

Here’s How Keanu Reeves Could Look As The McU’s Ghost Rider

Keanu Reeves may have been around Hollywood for decades, but it sure does look like his popularity isn’t cooling off anytime soon. In fact, one could say it’s reignited in recent years. The Matrix Trilogy may be long behind us, sure, but the John Wick series and subsequent roles in Toy Story 4 and Cyberpunk 2077 have managed to further capture the interest of the veteran actor’s fanbase.

Having said that, it’s no wonder he’s been sought for some sort of position in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Actually, Kevin Feige and company routinely ask Reeves to sign up, but he’s yet to comply. Still, hope springs eternal.

As you may have heard, True Believers far and wide have begun contemplating which Marvel character Keanu should play. Already, a petition has been started to have him suit up as Wolverine, though a case for having him

Michael Ahr Jun 12, 2019

Phil Coulson will always live on in the hearts of Agents of Shield fans, but Clark Gregg is warming up to his new character, Sarge.

Clark Gregg has been playing Agent Philip J. Coulson for a decade now: five years in various Avengers movies and Marvel One Shots and five years in Marvel’s Agents of Shield. But throughout season 6 on ABC, we’ve come to enjoy Gregg’s performance depicting a new, less scrupulous character named Sarge, whose role has evolved from that of an outright antagonist to an adversary with a common enemy. We spoke to Gregg recently about how he made the transition to his new character on the show.

Den Of Geek: So was it difficult to let go of Phil Coulson?

Clark Gregg: We learned on Agents of Shield some time ago that everything’s on the table at all times

Potential spoilers as alleged Terminator: Dark Fate plot details surface online

Although the character was absent from the first trailer, producer James Cameron subsequently confirmed that Terminator: Dark Fate will continue the story of John Connor, and now some potential plot details have surfaced online which may explain how the future leader of the Resistance factors into the new sequel.

The plot rumours come by way of alleged test screenings, which reveal that the movie begins shortly after Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with Skynet having been defeated. However, a new threat called Legion rises and sends a Terminator back to kill John. Fast-forward to the present, and Natalia ReyesDani Ramos – now mankind’s last hope – also becomes a target for Legion and the new Rev-9 Terminator (Diego Luna). Fortunately, the Resistance send back Mackenzie Davis’ Grace to protect her alongside Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor.

Now, none of this is confirmed at present, but it certainly sounds plausible, particularly after

There's a Crazy Rumor Regarding The Story For Terminator: Dark Fate and a New TV Spot

A new rumor has surfaced regarding the story and setting for producer James Cameron and director Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate that has surfaced that’s pretty crazy and unexpected. I wanted to share it with you to see what you all think of it.

Before I get into that rumor, though, we already know that Dark Fate is set years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Mackenzie Davis plays an enhanced cyborg from the future who travels back in time to hunt down another Terminator, played by Gabriel Luna. He has the ability to split into two separate Terminator killing machines — a dark liquid metal version that looks human and an endoskeleton. They will be joined by Linda Hamilton, who returns as Sarah Conner, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who is back as the Terminator.

I also have a new TV spot to share with you that offers

Biggest Terminator: Dark Fate Question May Have Just Been Answered
Some new information about Terminator: Dark Fate has found its way online. This new intel claims there are going to be some major changes in the franchise moving forward after the death of an iconic character and answers a question fans have been asking for a long time now. So far, the response to the sequel has been a bit lackluster after the first trailer finally dropped. However, fans of the franchise are still hoping Dark Fate will make good on James Cameron's promise to wipe out the previous sequels. There are potential Spoilers for Terminator: Dark Fate below, so read ahead at your own risk.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day saw Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the T-800 wipe out Cyberdyne, the company responsible for Skynet. The T-1000 was sent back in time to take out John Connor in the movie and ultimately failed. In Terminator: Dark Fate, there

Terminator: Dark Fate Rumor Teases The Shocking Demise Of [Spoilers]

These last couple of weeks have seen a wealth of Terminator: Dark Fate material emerge online, and so far, many fans have yet to be sold on the sequel. Mind you, even actress Linda Hamilton would probably admit that their skepticism is well founded, given the series’ lackluster track record for the last couple of decades.

For what it’s worth, producer James Cameron has described the upcoming flick as a direct continuation of 1991’s fondly remembered Terminator 2: Judgment Day. And if a new report from Heroic Hollywood is anything to go by, then we may have a pretty good idea of how Dark Fate will continue the sci-fi saga.

As you may recall, Judgment Day ended with Sarah and John Connor preventing the rise of Skynet. Granted, twelve years later, that conclusion was effectively reversed in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, but in the alternate timeline of Dark Fate,

According To James Cameron Terminator: Dark Fate Will Continue The Story of John Connor

When the trailer for Terminator: Dark Fate was released, a lot of fans were wondering where John Connor was at because he was nowhere to be seen. Well, during a recent interview with Flicks and the City (via JoBlo), producer James Cameron explained the film will indeed continue the story of John Connor, but as you’ll see they way he explains things is a little vague.

“I think the best way to think about Terminator: Dark Fate is to think about it as a direct sequel to Terminator 2, the third film in a series if you will. We’ll be continuing John’s story, with Sarah’s story, and the T-800 returns — a different T-800 with a very different role to play than what we’ve seen before.”

What I’m not sure about is if John will appear in the film or if his story will continue through his mom’s story.

James Cameron would not have returned for Terminator: Dark Fate without Arnold Schwarzenegger

Terminator mastermind James Cameron has revealed that he would not have returned to produce Terminator: Dark Fate without Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The Terminator franchise is back once more with Terminator: Dark Fate, and while some people may not be as excited about the prospect of another entry in the saga as they once were, this new film has something else to offer – it sees original director James Cameron returning as a producer.

Cameron and original star Arnold Schwarzenegger are two huge selling points for the series and Cameron has revealed to Flicks and the City (in a since-removed interview – via Cinema Blend), that he would not have come back without the actor:

“I said ‘Look I’d love to be involved in this, but I can’t be involved in a Terminator movie without working with my good friend of 35 years, Arnold Schwarzenegger, even if it’s to officially pass the
