How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, 2019.

Directed by Dean DeBlois.

Featuring the voice talents of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, F. Murray Abraham, Gerard Butler, Cate Blanchett, Craig Ferguson, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig, Kit Harington, and Justin Rupple.

Synopsis:

When Hiccup discovers Toothless isn’t the only Night Fury, he must seek “The Hidden World”, a secret Dragon Utopia before a hired tyrant named Grimmel finds it first.

As Dean DeBlois closes DreamWorks Animation’s mythological Nordic trilogy, How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World resonates worldly social consciousness. No, I’d not elect for primal barbarism to take effect over modern culture. Instead – after two movies centered around uniting *very* different beings – newfound friends must fight a common enemy: hatred. Unfounded, nonetheless. DeBlois’ third sky-shattering adventure is first and foremost a thrilling dragon quest but shies not from reminding of the gloom we must continually

Blu-ray Review – Once Upon a Deadpool (2018)

Once Upon a Deadpool, 2018.

Directed by David Leitch

Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy.

I guess this is Deadpool 2.2? Once Upon a Deadpool is a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2 wrapped in a parody of A Princess Bride, complete with a grown-up Fred Savage sitting in a recreation of that famous bedroom set and forced to listen to Deadpool read the story of the movie to him. It’s a funny idea, but whether this is worth owning on home video depends on how big of a fan you are, since there are no bonus features included on the disc.

File Once Upon a Deadpool under “Sounds like a funny idea, but, wait, they really did it?” They did, and they released it in theaters, and now you can buy it on Blu-ray. Unsurprisingly, this PG-13 version

The Most Notable TV Character Deaths/Exits Of 2018 – A Photo Gallery
Each year brings a raft of deaths and exits of our favorite TV characters, but 2018 saw them come at a dizzying pace. While this year’s list is numbingly long, Deadline looks at some of the most high-profile and memorable characters who left us in 2018.

Some we knew would be exiting, but the question was how, such as Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood in House of Cards and Danny Masterson’s in The Ranch, both of whom had been fired amid sexual misconduct allegations. Of course, there’s Roseanne Barr, whose meteorically successful Roseanne revival was canceled amid her racist Twitter rant against Valerie Jarrett, a former adviser to President Barack Obama. The question was how she would be written out of the subsequently greenlit The Conners spinoff.

Other memorable character deaths/exits included Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes and Lauren Cohan’s Maggie Rhee in The Walking Dead, Clayne Crawford

T.J. Miller clarifies his Deadpool future

After reports emerged on social media suggesting that he had confirmed he would not be reprising the role of Weasel in Deadpool 3, actor T.J. Miller has now taken to Twitter to clarify the situation, stating that the reason he isn’t in Deadpool 3 is because, well, there isn’t a Deadpool 3 at this point in time.

Guys. There are no plans yet for a deadpool 3. I’m contracted to do a third, but saying I’m not going to be in something that has yet to exist is like saying “t.j. confirmed he will not be reincarnated into an elephant.”

T.J. Miller Now Says He’s Contracted To Do Deadpool 3

A few days ago, popular leaker DanielRPK shared an excerpt from a social media exchange involving T.J. Miller, in which the controversial actor and comedian responded to the mention of Deadpool 3 with the sign-off, “I’m not in it. Gooobye!” Since this apparent confirmation started making the rounds, however, the Silicon Valley star has taken to Twitter once more to clarify his statement.

First off, Miller argued that his previous message actually said a fair bit less than people thought it did, seeing how Wade Wilson’s third solo outing has yet to be confirmed:

“Guys. There are no plans yet for a deadpool 3. I’m contracted to do a third, but saying I’m not going to be in something that has yet to exist is like saying ‘t.j. confirmed he will not be reincarnated into an elephant.’”
