Review: Person of Interest the Complete Fifth Season

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.

It used to be we worried about the threat of artificial intelligence in movies like Colossus: The Forbin Project or “The Ultimate Computer” episode of Star Trek. Today, though, artificial intelligence is here thanks to Siri and Cortanna and their cousins. We talk to our phones and they answer back and these bots are growing increasingly sophisticated. As a result, what seemed ahead of its time a mere give years ago is looking increasingly prescient.

CBS’ Person of Interest arrived on September 22, 2011 and came with a fine pedigree having been created by Jonathan Nolan with J.J. Abrams on board as Executive Producer. Person of Interest 5th & Final Season Comes to DVD in July

This week, CBS began the twice-weekly airing of the final 13 episodes of Person of Interest. The series is dark, compelling, and addresses many of the privacy and cyber-terrorism issues we’re wrestling with in our world. They just do it with an attractive cast and solve things every 60 minutes. Here’s the official word on the final season collection.

Warner Bros. Television will have a strong presence at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. In addition to screening the Lucifer pilot, Wbtv will have panels for iZombie, Supernatural, the aforementioned fallen angel series, and many more shows.

Comic-Con 2015: Supergirl Premiere, DC's Superhero Night, Supernatural, Lucifer and More Fill Wbtv's Slate
Warner Bros. TV has unveiled its Comic-Con 2015 slate, which will feature the official debut of Supergirl and wraps up with Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries staking their places on Sunday.

Among the series returning to the pop culture extravaganza are Arrow, The Flash, The Originals, Gotham, Person of Interest, The Big Bang Theory, The 100, iZombie and more. Additionally, newbies DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Containment, Lucifer and Blindspot will make their first trek to the event.
