A highly imaginative storyteller, born in a chaotic USSR, Olia spent her time reading fairy tales/folklore and living in her own worlds with no limitations. Olia Received her bachelor's degree in linguistics and communications, with a major in Mandarin Chinese when living in Russia. Despite corporate offers from highly respected business in China, Olia decided to travel west to Hollywood, CA to pursue her creative dreams in the film industry. Completing the UCLA Directing Program, Olia found work on various professional film sets in and around the greater Los Angeles area. While enrolled in USC's MFA program with a focus in Film and TV Production, Olia worked as a director, producer, editor, sound design, 1st AD, location manager, and story board artist on various projects such as short films, music videos, commercials, and infomercials, Olia has had time to experience and find her calling in the film industry. She is highly proficient in various key elements of film and production such as planning, scheduling, location scouting, budgeting, marketing, etc. A highly capable team player, Olia has worked with a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures and proves to seamlessly execute her position with her strong and natural leadership abilities. Her determination and unrelenting drive proves to be an unexpendable asset and will surely take her to great heights in her bright future.
