Mark Orr is a writer and producer from Austin, TX. As a graduate of Boston University, Mark relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue a career writing episodic television. His first job was with the It Gets Better Project (IGB), an entertainment-based non-profit working to put an end to LGBT teen suicide. He left IGB a year in to pursue TV production opportunities and has since amassed an eclectic list of credits, including the Freeform's Siren, FOX's Lethal Weapon, and Tyra Banks' Presents FABLife. He has executive produced 2 short films, which won awards in film festivals across Southern California. Outside of production work, Mark takes classes in TV writing at UCLA Extension, dances with Random Acts of Irreverent Dance, and explores all that Los Angeles has to offer.

Mark attended college at Boston University, receiving a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology in May 2012.
He worked closely with Writer / Director Katie Lemon to create their first short film, KIN. The short premiered at the Los Angeles Lift-Off Festival in September 2015. Following its premiere the short also screened at both the Studio City International Film Festival and the HollyShorts Monthly Screening Series in December 2015.
