Patrice O'Neal Passes Away at Age 41
Comedian/actor Patrice O'Neal passed away on Monday night at the age of 41, due to complications that arose after a stroke he suffered last month. Gregg Hughes, a.k.a. Opie of the Opie & Anthony radio show, confirmed the news on his Twitter account earlier today.

"Yes it's true that our pal Patrice O'Neal has passed away. The funniest and best thinker I've ever known Period. #devastated"

Fellow comedian Jim Norton broke the news of Patrice O'Neal's stroke on the Opie & Anthony radio show last month.

"We don't know how he is. We don't know how he's going to be. I didn't want to do this by myself. I wish we had more news for you."

Patrice O'Neal was a mainstay in the New York stand-up comedy scene for several years. He appeared in movies such as The 25th Hour, Head Of State, and Furry Vengeance. He also hosted
