Attention African American Filmmakers Living in the Midwest!

For the first time ever, the Gene Siskel Film Center is accepting proposals for Production Grants to fund short film projects that will premiere at Opening Night of the 25th Anniversary Black Harvest Film Festival in August 2019. As a filmmaker, you are invited to submit to be considered for funding by a jury comprised of film programmers, fellow filmmakers, and academics.

Requirements for consideration include that the filmmaker be African American and a current Midwest resident. For more details on the scope of this project, please visit www.siskelfilmcenter.org
