‘Aloha Builds’ From Optomen Among New Series Set On Diy, Hgtv

Production is underway on Aloha Builds, a 13-episode home remodeling series from Optomen Productions, set to premiere in September on Discovery-owned Diy Network.

Aloha Builds follows siblings David and Michelle Jamie as they remodel outdated homes in beautiful Hawaii. Born and raised in the Aloha state, this brother-sister duo have a passion for home renovation and design and use their expertise to help clients save big bucks as they create perfect island dream homes, per Diy.

Aloha Builds (fka Aloha Homes) aired as a pilot last spring and was subsequently ordered to series by the network.

Aloha Builds joins two other new series set to air late summer and fall on Diy. Boomtown Builder is an eight-episode half hour series with master craftsman Tim McClellan who helps families restore homes in Arizona’s old mining “boomtowns”. It’s set for an August premiere.
