The 4400 Reboot Series in the Works for The CW

A reboot of the USA Network sci-fi mystery series, The 4400, is in development at The CW.

The 4400 is not a show that gets name-dropped very often these days, but that will soon change. The slow-burn sci-fi mystery series, which ran for four seasons on USA Network from 2004 to 2007 will make its own dare to defy attempt with a reboot series now being planned for The CW.

The current version of the original producing studio of The 4400, CBS Television Studios, is returning to the property to produce a reboot/reimagining of the series, developed as an offering for The CW. The studio has given the reigns of the series to the overall-deal-fulfilling duo of Taylor Elmore and a writer/producer from the original series in Craig Sweeny.
