Kevin Feige Doesn’t Want To Change Anything About The Deadpool Movies

As of last month, the Deadpool franchise is officially a Disney property, giving the Mouse House the legal go-ahead to bring Wade Wilson into the McU. But while the Merc with a Mouth’s solo outings have so far been a fair bit bloodier and more profanity-laden than your average Marvel Studios flick, producer Kevin Feige seemingly has no intention of changing what works about the series.

In an interview with Variety, the Marvel Studios head observed that the Deapool franchise is doing pretty well for itself these days, arguing that he doesn’t need to fix what isn’t broken.

“When we were purchased, Bob said to us, ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it,’” Feige said. “There’s no question that Deadpool is working, so why would we change it?”
