Oscar-Winning Spotlight Producer Steve Golin Dies at 64
Oscar-winning producer Steve Golin, whose company Anonymous Content is behind groundbreaking hits like Spotlight and Mr. Robot, died Sunday in Los Angeles of cancer, according to multiple reports. He was 64.

Golin’s producing resume included dozens of popular movies and TV shows, and in 2016, he took home an Oscar for producing Spotlight. He was nominated that same year for The Revenant, and in 2006, earned a nod for the Alejandro G. Iñárritu drama Babel.

Golin was also a three-time Emmy nominee for his work on True Detective, Mr. Robot and The Alienist.
