Warner Bros. Vet Lynn Whitney Joins Lionsgate Motion Picture Group

Former Warner Bros. veteran Lynn Whitney has joined the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group as head of worldwide paid media, partnerships, promotions and consumer products.

Whitney bolsters a theatrical marketing team at Lionsgate led by Damon Wolf, who last year replaced Tim Palen as president of worldwide theatrical marketing. She is already at work on global theatrical campaigns for Lionsgate’s 2019 film slate, which includes the Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron romantic comedy Long Shot; John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, starring Keanu Reeves; the Gerald Butler-starrer Angel Has Fallen; and Roland Emmerich’s World War II action film Midway.
