The Bachelorette” led ABC to a Monday win in primetime ratings. The premiere of Eva Longoria’s “Grand Hotel” at 10 p.m. didn’t help the effort all that much.

Still, “Grand Hotel” was the 10 o’clock hour’s highest-rated summer debut in almost two years. Five others broadcast dramas have premiered in that hour over those two years.

With the time-period premiere of “American Ninja Warrior,” NBC finished runner-up last night.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.2 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 4.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Bachelorette” from 8 to 10 earned a 1.5/8 and 5.5 million viewers. “Grand Hotel” at 10 debuted to a 0.7/3 and 3.7 million viewers.
