Tess Haubrich is making her Us TV series debut in Treadstone, a CIA drama commissioned by the USA Network.
The Bad Mothers, Nekrotronic, Pine Gap and Wolf Creek star has a recurring role in the Universal Cable Productions’ series which is shooting in Budapest.
Created by Tim Kring (Heroes) and Ben Smith, a producer of the Bourne franchise, the show explores the origins and present-day adventures of a CIA black ops program known as Operation Treadstone — a covert program that uses behaviour-modification protocol to turn recruits into nearly superhuman assassins.
The first season follows sleeper agents across the globe as they’re mysteriously “awakened” to resume their deadly missions.
The cast includes The Killing’s Michelle Forbes, Almost Famous’ Patrick Fugit, The Leftovers’ Michael Gaston and Bollywood star Shruti Haasan in her English-language debut.
