Sex & Nudity

  • For 1930's standards, some of the dresses worn by the female characters were a little low-cut.

  • Dracula enters a woman's bedroom and bites her neck and sucks her blood, killing her. While we don't see this, in the next scene, during an autopsy, we see a close-up of the bite marks on her neck through a magnifying glass.
  • Dracula, quite violently for the 1930's, strangles a man and throws his body the stairs.
  • Renfield gets drugged by Dracula. When he awakens, he is bitten and for the rest of the movie, he is Dracula's slave.
