Originally meant to be a vehicle for Maria Montez and Jon Hall, but Montez didn't like the script and refused to do the picture. Universal replaced her with Yvonne De Carlo and dropped Hall in favor of Rod Cameron. Except for yvonne de carlo this film is a waste of time and technicolor ... its an old story ...outlaw on the run meets pretty woman and she falls for him ... watch a roy rodgers western if you want music ...have you ever seen rory calhoun smile ? its not in his genes, its all serious business first then death ... avoid at all costs
