James Mason is quoted as saying his favorite movie was A Touch of Larceny. However, for reasons indeterminable, as of Jan 2014 the only way to catch this secret classic is (a) get hold of your own copy (b) via free streaming at Amazon.com as part of its instant video series once you sign up for a free month of Amazon Prime---though be careful not to let that month go by past three weeks or you'll be surprised to get hit up for 79 bucks (for the year) a week or more early.

Netflix used to carry this film but lost the rights in 2013.

Amazingly, TCM as of this date claims to have no copy to show on cable, via streaming on its online service, or even to sell! Bon chance ~ Native Angeleno
