Audio/visual unsynchronised
During the Viva Las Vegas dance/music sequence, even though it is already blatantly apparent, Elvis is badly lip-synching the lyrics.
In the "What'd I Say" music scene, an electric piano can be heard very clearly on the soundtrack - yet only an acoustic concert piano is seen on film.
Continuity
At the end of the race the Count's car runs off the track and then back on wherein the cockpit gets pulverized by a yellow car. This would definitely have killed the driver, or at least put the "count' into a full body cast. Yet later he appears at Rusty and Lucky's wedding, very healthy.
The continuity of the big race is completely jumbled. For example the black #49 Jaguar XK 120 is the first car to crash (through the barrier in a left hand turn), yet it is plainly visible a few moments later bumping other cars off course. Lucky manages to weave his way through the whole pack to catch the race leader's Ferrari 250 GT and then they swap leads a few times. The Count's Ferrari blows a tire and crashes, then suddenly Lucky is once again passing the cars he just passed to catch the Count and take the lead.
In the "What I Say" dance number white tape or something similar appears and disappears from Elvis' right hand fingers.
When "The Coasters" first begin performing the song "The Climb," the close-up view shows none of them wearing glasses. When the camera zooms out to show the entire dance floor, the baritone/bass vocalist is wearing glasses.
When Rusty is dancing in a lavender bodysuit, she wears high heels until about 2/3 way through and then she is shown with lavender ballet slippers.
About 15 seconds into Ann-Margret's dance routine at the University of Nevada, the red-haired male dancer third from the left, wearing grey pants, white shoes and black socks, suddenly becomes a different person with blond hair, white pants, grey shoes and white socks.
When Elvis/Lucky pulls up to the Las Vegas Speedway with his race car in tow, he is driving a beat up yellow convertible with mud all over the front window. A second later he is backing his race car into the garage and the yellow convertible's front window is spotless, not a speck of mud on it.
Close ups of Elvis in his race car (at end, race) show his helmeted head a good way above the head protection roll bar behind him: in the rear view shots of his car, from other rivals P.o.V. helmeted head is clearly ('safely'!) within the head rest / safety roll bar curve.
Crew or equipment visible
During the race just after they pass the Nashville, Nevada saloon, the ground level camera crew in the median is clearly visible from the helicopter shot. This assumes, however, the camera crew to be the film crew. Right before the race begins the race announcer does mention that there will be TV camera locations all along the course.
When the black #49 car crashes through a railing during a left turn, as the camera tracks the car from right to left, a man's right arm above the elbow and white short shirt sleeve can be seen. Just before the crash, police can be seen standing on the side of the road with fire extinguishers and a rescue vehicle, but they are wearing long sleeve khaki shirts.
Errors in geography
During the auto race, the cars are supposed to be driving across the Hoover Dam from Nevada into Arizona. In reality, they are driving the wrong way across the dam, from Arizona into Nevada (where Las Vegas is); plus the race begins at night: the Hoover dam would be approximately 30+ minutes (standard) driving from Las Vegas, but the race cars are shown crossing in (early morning?) daylight.
There are no Marinas near Hoover Dam. The helicopter would have flown for a few minutes before they would have seen one.
Miscellaneous
When Rusty finishes making the sandwiches she puts them in the basket unwrapped, but when she later hands them to her father (while he and Lucky are working on the race car) they are individually wrapped in white (wax) paper.
Revealing mistakes
In the dance/music scene on the "roulette wheel," Lucky is playing an electric guitar that is not plugged in.
The Count's (very expensive) Ferrari 250 GT suddenly transforms into a Daimler 250 SP Dart right before it crashes.
When the race starts, the black #49 car is tapped by the rear of the red #22 car as all cars pull out of their starting positions. The driver of #49 is wearing a red top. When #49 crashes through the barrier and off the road the driver is wearing a white top.
The roulette wheel dance floor is seen in two different clubs.
