Col. Mike Kirby picks two teams of crack Green Berets for a mission in South Vietnam. First off is to build and control a camp that is trying to be taken by the enemy the second mission is to kidnap a North Vietnamese General.

During the opening night scene when the oil well fire begins which triggers the action of the story, numerous trees can be seen fairly close to the burning oil well. A few minutes later when Buckman's fire fighters arrive, the burning well is on the banks of a small lake or pond surrounded by oil wells. There isn't a tree within sight of the well. This is an excellent movie on the fighting of High pressure well fires and the way's they are fought. The poison well fire is the most amazing of the fires shows what can be trapped under the ground when drilling for oil.
