Excellent mix of car chases and character development
Joe Don Baker and Tyne Daly team up in this action thriller as a mismatched pair of cops who try to track down an elusive car thief terrorizing Phoenix, Arizona. A number of well-staged chase scenes are seen throughout and a nice sub-plot involving a drug ring. Earl Bellamy's direction adds a lot of humor and suspense with nice supporting roles by Morgan Woodward, Robert Loggia, Timothy Carey, Richard Jaeckel, and Lana Wood.
