When "Hardware Wars" was released on home video in the early '80s, it was included on a compilation called "Hardware Wars and Other Film Farces", which also featured Closet Cases of the Nerd Kind
(1982), Bambi Meets Godzilla
(1969), and Porklips Now
(1980) (also by Erie Fosselius). This version of the short (the one distributed by Pyramid Films) had one minor edit: the image of a nude model, which is seen briefly as various technical drawings are being shown on the screen during the "exciting pre-battle briefing" scene. See more
