Storyline

In his warm, Scottish coming-of-age film, gangly teen Gregory and his school-mates are starting to find out about girls. He fancies Dorothy, not least because she has got on to the football team (and is a better player than he). He finally asks her out, but it is obviously the females in control of matters here, and that very much includes Gregory's younger sister. Written by Jeremy Perkins {J-26}

Nothing Like Scottish Love !
13 January 2001 | by melliciousSee all my reviews

This is a great cute VERY Scottish movie. It's characters had a little more depth to them then your usual puppy love story. I saw this for the first time when I was 17 in 1987 and revisited it off and on since then .. it's one of those simple movies that makes you think life can be so simple as worrying about getting someone to like you.
