  • Immediately. Various police and ambulances are carting away the bodies of the kids Jason murdered in Part III. Jason is still lying in the barn. The police are bagging up the axe that Chris used to kill him. Like the others, Jason's body is being taken to the Wessex County Morgue. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • Chris hides in the barn, but Jason pursues her. He comes after her with a machete, but she climbs into the loft. When he mounts the loft, she hits him with a shovel and hangs him with the rope used for lifting bales of hay. Thinking he is dead, she climbs down from the loft and exits the barn only to find him standing there. For a brief moment, he lifts his hockey mask to reveal his face, and Chris realizes that he is the man who attacked her two years ago. Just as he comes at her again with the machete, biker Ali rushes in but Jason cuts off his hand and kills him. Chris picks up an axe and hacks Jason in the forehead with it. Again believing him to be dead, she heads to the lake where she gets into a canoe and drifts out into the lake. The next morning, she awakens to a hallucination of Jason still in the window and is pulled into the water by a decomposing Mrs. Voorhees. In the final scene, an hysterical Chris is led away by the police. This is followed by a shot of Jason lying in the barn with an axe in his forehead and then a peaceful view of Crystal Lake. • After encountering the bodies of the teens next door, Trish races back to her own house, and she and Tommy lock the windows and nail the doors shut. It doesn't help to keep Jason out, however, as he comes crashing through a window and grabs Tommy. Trish beats him off with a hammer, and then she and Tommy run upstairs and barricade themselves in Tommy's room. Jason begins to break down the door with a axe, so Trish breaks a TV set over his head, knocking him senseless for a few seconds. When he comes to, she runs outside and over the rental house in order to lure Jason away from Tommy. Once inside the house, she leaps out of a window and heads back to her own house. Jason follows. Meanwhile, Tommy has come up with an idea. He cuts his hair and shaves his head to make himself look like Jason as a child. It's enough to distract Jason long enough for Trish to take a swing at him with the machete. She misses him but succeeds in knocking off his hockey mask, revealing his horrifically disfigured face. Tommy grabs the machete and knocks Jason in the head with it, again knocking him senseless. Tommy then hugs his sister but notices that Jason has begun to move. Wielding the machete, he hacks at Jason's body repeatedly, heedless to Trish's cries. In the final scene, Trish is resting in the hospital. Her doctor explains that Tommy acted vehemently to protect himself and that he'll be fine. He then sends Tommy in to see her. As Tommy and Trish hug each other, a strange look of menace comes over his face. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • In the movie, she stumbles out into the rainstorm and her fate is left ambiguous. In the original script, however, she is found by one of the characters drowned in the bathtub. Edit (Coming Soon)

  • The workprint features several story extensions that were probably cut due to pacing reasons. Unfortunately, no new gore scenes can be found in this version. The UK VHS is censored, in that approximately 20 seconds are missing involving some gore/fighting scenes. These cuts were waived for the more modern DVD release. Edit (Coming Soon)
